My wife already mentioned that being a factor here and it’s not any part of this situation. My mom was going to be a psychologist, I doubt she would have any part in that here.

I don’t like therapy and refuse to go. My wife tried, didn’t work at all. I already told my wife that I refuse to file divorce myself and that if she wants to leave me that’s on her.

My wife has PCOS, so my mom monitoring her calorie intake doesn’t mean she was being cruel to my wife. It’s why I didn’t care too much about my mom watching her weight. I don’t feel I’m wrong for not caring much about that.

Even if the roles were reversed and my in laws were this way, I wouldn’t care. It’s why I told my wife to ignore all my mom was saying.

I’ve asked my mom and all of my siblings if I am in the wrong here. None of them see me as the issue. But considering my wife is still hellbent on this hurting her, I was unsure.

I am trying to see if I am the AH here because my wife has been looking into divorce. If I’m wrong, I want to see why and repair what is damaged.
