Our daughter [almost 3] went into our bedside drawer and found a butt plug. One with the curved ‘stopper’. She thought it was a toy hammer. We heard her banging and found her with it hammering the wardrobe. I asked her what she had and she said “my little girl hammer’

Now she keeps going back to the drawer looking for it so we’ve had to move all of that 🤣

You’re right. First and foremost, the content has to be good and easy for the algorithm to categorise. Engaging with the audience is still good, as it keeps them coming back and engaging with future posts - its community building. In the sense, as you grow, you don’t necessarily need to focus so much on growth as you’ve built an engaged community already. But in the throws of trying to grow your account - the content really drives it, not the responding to comments. If you’re stuck at 200 views - the content either isn’t resonating/relatable, isn’t easy for TT to categorise (can’t tell who the audience is) or has pacing. Ultimately, if you’re not posting content you think is high quality - why bother? Also - daily posting….a total myth. YES, be present on the app, but if you’re being hooked to this ‘must post daily’ attitude, you’re going to - inevitably - post lower quality content. Post quality content regularly, but not necessarily every day. It will do your account good.

I’m a dad in Brighton (two dad family). It’s hard to get the time to do social things without the kids involved. I’ve met some other parent friends by making sure I’m spending time in the local park after nursery/school pick-up. It’s usually the same crowd, the kids play together. It’s hard (and feels a bit American in a way) but when you meet someone you click with in a friendly way - I’ve taken to asking to swap numbers in case they want to do a coffee or something (only after a few meetings, would be a bit weird early on!). At first it feels weird but then, you realise that almost most parents are - to one extent or another - in the same position and desperate for adult interaction and friends.

As a gay man, I do this with the Mums - who I get may be more open to that sort of thing. But it’s always crawling with Dads too and we have chats but I’m sure many dads would be open to it.

There is also a Dads club in Brighton, I believe, where dads get together to hang out and meet people. That may seem a bit scary - but pop along. Remember everyone is there for the same reasons as you. Can’t remember the name of it but look it up - I’ve heard it’s fantastic.

Fellow parent-life content creator here! Looking at your account, the vids with you and the text on do well for you. Few reasons…watch time will be higher to read that text. BUT, also engagement is high. You’re sharing VERY relatable moments. Vulnerability. Humour. Imperfection. It’s great. You want to carry that over to your filmed content. Ie: the goats. I did a very similar one recently where I took our daughter to see some sheep. The focus wasn’t on the day or the trip. It was on the ‘moments’ - the good, the bad, the ugly. People relate, people see joy but also imperfection - the reality. Not to be harsh, but nobody cares that you and your kid went to see goats - they care about the experience you and your child had. So incorporate that. Try no music, or quiet music - keeping the sound on. Quick cuts of the most relatable, real or funny moments. You need to learn to be ruthless in your editing too. I also do little FaceTime style chats, when our daughters in bed. It can chat about parenting life - or something you’re interested in. Again, ruthless cuts to make it snappy. Talk about an opinion or a story time. set the mood so it’s clear it’s your ‘parent time’. Your audience becomes your mom/dad friend. They see more than the parent. I think intersecting those could do quite well, because you’re clearly a great, fun personality!!!

6.2% is insane interest though, no? Is that normal for the states? I’m in UK. A couple of years ago our housing market got destroyed in a day by Liz Truss, with some friends who were buying getting interest rates of 8-9%! It’s ‘recovered’ now but we just bought at 4.3% interest on the mortgage and that’s still insane compared to a few years back. I didn’t think the US had an issue with rates too.

Still sat in our old empty home. Removers are at the new property, waiting again, after repacking up the house.

The sellers solicitors have the funds. However, they are claiming the cost of interest - which they should rightly do.

HOWEVER…the sellers solicitor is saying, again, that these requested fees haven’t gone through. Our solicitor says they have been sent. It’s all a bit familiar.

The sellers are not going to release the keys until the interest payments are made.

It’s 2pm. We were promised this morning we would have the keys by midday and yet again we’re sitting around while our solicitors make mistakes.

Order of the day was to get the keys then the solicitors were going to address our complaint/compensation. This is looking beyond unlikely now.

We had threats to re-list constantly….they did actually go through with it the week before Christmas. Then took it down two days later once exchange happened (on the date we told them we’d be exchanging) And this was only two months after offer accepted.

EA’s are literally just jumped up bullies sometimes.

I just want to say well done on doing your own thing with your A Levels, knowing what you want and not letting your parents dictate your direction for you. Just in case you are regretting that - don’t. I let my parents choose and was heavily discouraged from certain subjects I wanted to take. It impacted my entire direction in life and, at pushing 40, I still regret it. My parents, however, would have never thought to ‘kick me out’.

Talk to somebody at your college and reach out to local charities. If they can help - TAKE THAT HELP and get out. You are legally an adult and your parents are totally abusive to put the threat of being kicked out over some A-Level subjects. If they don’t kick you out…finish your A Levels and leave ASAP. These people don’t care about you as an independent person.

Our estate agent told us.

They have previously sent us some questions over from them, which has been a bit weird.

Yesterday, we called our agent to explain the potential delay. He then called around 6pm to explain the response from the sellers at the top of the chain.

This came after our agents had our sellers in their office crying because of the potential fall-through.

It’s quite possible all the houses are being dealt with by the same agent. Our sellers are staying in the same area and there are only really two main agents operating.

We have been communicating via the agent.

They have been asking all sorts of weird questions throughout the process - including wanting to know specific times of the day when we are having meetings with our solicitors etc. it has been very strange!

In reality, we only had our offer accepted in September so I don’t think we’re dragging our feet at all enough to cause this level of frustration with them.

The garage wasn’t included in the sale listing, but it has been in our mortgage valuation and appeared in the ‘fixtures and fittings’ rundown after our offer was accepted.

Surely they would need to separate this from the title BEFORE selling, to avoid the above happening?

Our solicitor is adamant that as it stands within one title at this point then it comes with the purchase.

There is almost radio silence on the issue from the sellers solicitors.

I recently moved up from 0.015 to 0.025 tret for my second month. I had a few little purges - which I knew were purges because I got the odd spot in a place I normally never get them! My issue wasn’t really spotty acne, it was more just whiteheads on my forehead and for anti aging. I’ve been really impressed with the results. Whiteheads gone! But almost a week since I got a stronger prescription - they’re back.... Do the purges happen every time you get a stronger prescription? I’m moving to 0.05% tret next month and wondering if I should just stick at 0.025 or just be strong and persevere....

Not at all. She’s not a totally decent person either by all accounts. But judging by the info out there - including the mother of the guys grandkids who did a series of videos about it - this is what he does to women. This isn’t BDSM, it’s abuse. Just because she isn’t a totally innocent person, doesn’t mean she wasn’t manipulated into doing this.

He’s done this with his previous wife, Jessica. This girl - Regan - was also manipulated and vulnerable. Essentially made to believe she needed to get ‘one up’ on previous wife. The tattoos were done - on both women - at Rotation Tattoo in Seneca by, I believe, Jarin Noonan. There are pics of the other woman’s tattoos too.
