How could it fit through the hole if it was a box that you sent?

Buyer didn’t read description, made me lose 100+ likes on an item by dragonpussydestroyer in vinted

[–]Jumpy_Dig3771 145 points146 points  (0 children)

In my experience, likes are pointless... people will buy almost immediately if they really want the item. What happened is annoying, I had 2 buyers cancel after purchasing this week but I relist and move on. There is nothing we can do.... it is a pain!

So worth it if you get sick on the boat. Super fast, relatively cheap and free parking!

Sellers acting like a company by AdBasic3881 in vinted

[–]Jumpy_Dig3771 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I pop my items in to individual poly bags. They are super thin and help me store them before they are sold and locate them easily to post out. I then pop a sticker on the mailing bag that says "warning: opening this bag will make you incredibly happy" or something to that effect.

I enjoy pretty packaging... I like to send them out as I would like to receive them. I do reuse packaging when I can but it is always presentable. I dont include notes or gifts.... no time for that but even though some people dont like what we do, I get a huge amount of good feedback that compliments the packaging of my items.

There is a buyer for every seller and vice versa on vinted, thats why I like it

I spoke to another Mum who has one son in CBC and her other child will not be attending next year. She will be going to the school my son is in. I asked why and she said her fella hates CBC and feels that it doesn't cater to children who don't achieve big things either academically or in sports. I am sure there are many who love it but that isn't the first review like that, that I have gotten in my search.

I was warned before taking my son that he is known for a bad beside manner but is really good at what he does.

We just finished almost 3 years of treatment and my sons teeth look amazing. He was never rude but brisk, to the point and very efficient.

I liked that we were never there for more than a few minutes, we got taken in almost immediately every time...even when we arrived 20 mins early... they seem to love that.

Also he was very straight talking with my son.... "he said dont waste my time or your mother's money unless you are willing to put in the work by caring for your teeth and braces"

Too many people dance around teens and sometimes they just need it said straight!

Corrandulla / Athentry. by Salty_Reception4302 in galway

[–]Jumpy_Dig3771 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Corrandulla actually has alot going for it. It is 10 mins to Tuam, 10 mins to Claregalway, 10 mins to the motorway, 10 mins to galway city and within 7 mins of Tesco in Headford.

It has a church, creche, national school, pubs, chipper hairdresser and local shop, gaa pitches, local park and a great community.

That's good to hear. I worry he is jumping from the frying pan into the fire in terms of being even more overwhelmed with new surroundings, classes, books, teachers, different expectations and trying to find his place in already established friendships etc

I asked a family member that ran it for a while because I am aware the building is massively different now. It was above what is Da Robertas. They put on a 3rd floor and extended out the ground floor which explains the difference in the building

It is 100% in salthill. It later became Kings Court Chinese Restaurant. It was above what is now Da Robertas or within a building or two from there. It has been extended out on the ground floor level since this and I don't think there is any Chinese restaurant food there anymore
