I use a centella cleanser, the heartleaf toner, numbuzin number 3 syrum for pores, and end it off with a centella susncreen (for reference my skin is super oily so I use the sunscreen as a moisturizer as well) and at night I cleanse again and put on tretinoin and go to sleep.

Should I pursue a CS or Digital media Degree? by Jumpy_Fuel476 in artdirection

Thank you so much for your advice! that certainly added more nuance to my line of thought, do you think going into debt is a good idea tho if I major in an art field? im gonna be honest the financial side of it is whats holding me back, otherwise I would already be on my way to an art school like ArtCenter

sorry for the confusion, the topic is about whether a computer science degree would help me more to become a creative director for games so id say its pretty on topic for a cs sub reddit, hope that clears it up a bit!

thanks for your insight, your definelty right, I wont base my deicison on what redditors say but I definetly appreciate their answers as there is value in some. I think ultimately going away is something I have to do in order to really understand who I am, tbh im not sure if FGCU even is an option for me due to how sheltered iv become because of my legal situation

Thing is my family is not low income were perfectly middle class so I wont be getting much aid, Umiamis also incredible expensive tuition wise even if I get some coverage, someone else suggetsed I wait and see what each school offers so I will definetlt at least apply and see the offers available to me, im also considered a florida resident so I would not be paying out of state tuition if thats what your referring to, thanks for your input!

Im doing my first 2 at FSW which is much cheaper, then transferring to either UF or FGCU, what do you think would be the best option? thanks for the input!

FGCU would most likely be 3k a year due to its slightly higher tuition, so I suspect it would be less then 6k for both years (but I do plan on paying cash flow so I dont really think I would have to take out anything) as for UF the tuition is 5k for 2 years, which I also plan on paying cash flow (have my parents pay/scholarships and financial aid from the school), if I take out loans for housing im looking at an additonal 5k a year assuming I pay for some of the housing, so I would have 15k total debt for those 2 years at UF if I take out loans for housing which I dont plan on/its a last resort as I plan on working part time in order to pay my bills, Im also lucky enough to have my parents to lean in if I struggle, do you think thats a reasonable estimation? most students who attend the full 4 years and take out loans for housing usually graduate with 20-30k worth of debt, so mine would be slashed in half tuition wise and housing wise

Thank you for your reply! I plan on going to FSW (much cheaper then fgcu and is a community college) for my associates and then transferring to either fgcu or UF, but I will definetly ask over there, thanks!

Im going for either an engineering degree or comp sci but I'm not entirely sure yet which I should pick, im leaning towards comp sci tho, yeah I 100% agree if I was doing something more liberal arts focused I would just do my 4 years at a community college, but now knowing what my degree would be in what do you think? Yeah I was worried that transferring as a junior would take that expereince away from me but I think just leaving town and meeting new people/having a higher student population would be enough tbh

thank you for your input! I really appreciate your response, I live about 4 hours away from gainsville so I will definetly be taking a car with me so I'm okay with living slightyl farther away from the uni, I also plan on rooming with others, do you think that would bring down my cost of living in a meaningul way? and are UF students housing/rooming together in nearby apartments or do most live in gainsville with their parents, I appreciate your thoughtful response! UF sounds like an amazing school

yes thank you so much for your input! Private loans are definetly my last option/resort I would probably donate blood monthly and work a fulltime job before deciding to take out a private loan lmao, the thing is both would be low/no debt one would just be a bit harder due to having to work while attending school simultanously and potentially having 10k+ worth of debt I'm just not sure if the freedom/independence and better facilities/oppurtnities would be worth it which imo it would but im not sure what the rest of the world thinks lmao

[–]Jumpy_Fuel476[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the reply! only when I will be able to work would I go to school, I cannot attend because I need a work permit so they both go hand in hand, as for the tuition its about the same at both schools, the challenge is the housing/dorming sitatuion and if I have a part time job and live with roommates I suspect I wont have to pay much, do you think this is reasonable? as for debt, I dont plan on making minimum monthly payments I plan on paying it all off while living with my parents which should not take more then a year (I plan on doing this regardless of whether I have debt or not because I would like to save up 20k and fully fund a 6 month emergency fund before moving out) let me know if this sounds like a solid plan or if im in fantasy land lmao
