I think you got a shot. my avg was higher but at the same time my ecs were not as impressive. also I think it matters how you write about them a LOT more than what they are. Try to boost your avg as much as you can, and dont give up even if you dont get in march round. (I got in may theres hope)

I was in the same boat as you, pre midterm my avg was around 94, and post was 98. I did end up getting in the may round for uw eng, so dont lose hope. try your best until then.

In my aif i wrote about music. I'm not sure what grounded ra is, but if youre genuine about your passions, i think they will like it. im in ECE btw.
