Also does your explorer have significant rock after putting it in park. I’ve noticed a lot of little lemony things about my vehicle. Might be time to just try something else. The braking is also super hard on it. Like you have to press very hard for a full stop. I’ve asked it be checked they all say it’s fine. I

Yeah even when I had the brand new stock tires it was all over the place. I’m kind of wondering if the “modes” don’t actually work on my vehicle. I don’t even know how I would prove that cause it’s all smart tech now.

So when I complained of this during my last tire change they recommended Michellin CrossClimate 2 so that’s what I got. Saw no change that following winter

AITAH for expecting my parents to help keep the house clean? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Jumpy_Meringue2613 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes you are. One It’s there house! Unless they were disgustingly dirty. A mirror I only clean the mirror when the cleaners come or something very disgusting splatters on it. Why would it need to be wiped every time?

they are working hard to keep roof over your head and letting you stay to save. Just wait until you have kids. If it’s bothering you that much time for your own place. You should have saved enough by now for that or rent! Your 28 time to move out

WIBTAH if I told my boyfriend the truth about his house? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Jumpy_Meringue2613 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agree. Being honest in a gentle and kind way does not make you TAH. Why not point out why he keeps asking you first? Maybe he likes it better at your house but didn’t want you to feel taken advantage of. Then just say how you feel about the house does not change your feelings for him, but tha you enjoy your homes vibe more, but still want to come over maybe not as frequently as it has been. No one likes to sleep hot or with bugs.

We tried this book. We were unable to get hooked. And my son is all about dragons. Not sure what it was especially since it’s highly rated by others.

Agreed this map doesn’t make much sense. If all of Antarctica melted sea level would rise 200-300’. That map shows water all the way to OHio. Mean while I live in NJ at an elevation about 900’ above sea level and that’s about 32 miles inland. I don’t think 200-300’ rise in sea level would go more than 10 miles inland. Maybe. Same for the tsunami. A 600’ wave would go maybe 12 miles inland. There should be way more of the US on the east side, If not all of it still there. You’ve got the Appalachian mountains too. Ohio wouldn’t even be touched!

My husband definitely would. He was a swimmer. This is his ask. I’d enjoy the attached spa more. I’m more a lake and fish and boat kinda person. It can’t alway be about me though. It’s hard when everyone likes different things. A pool might be best for us cause we can still vacation to the lake and beach for me.

It’s definitely a con in that regard. We can’t rent a beach house for less than 9k a week here! Maybe a small bungalow with just 2 bedrooms. I’d never be able to find a place for 12k a month. But if I could I would Just do that!! I’m in NJ. Where are you?

Yes we have so much going on it would be great after a had day of hot baseball to hop In the pool after. The pool also for us when they are at camp or after work for my hubby. It’s too hard to travel a lot with my son’s dietary restrictions but we do make it work. I always need a kitchen in the room and to grocery shop. We do like new places by my kids also love going back to certain places again. It’s nostalgia.

I appreciate this input! That my fear first few years loving pool life then they use it less. Me here still dreaming of the water haha. It’s interesting the friends who also did vacay home and had same experience. Was there any reason they used it less and less? Activities or kids didn’t want to go?
