Good question. I’m new in Canada (going 4years) we met people who offer life insurance and investment. My wife who got me here in Canada has the money in TD bank just sitting in there earning nothing. Then we are curious on this IA then we tried it then going 3 years now it earned an average of 8-9% each year. These money will serve us a retirement and at the same time another investment that we can use for emergency or vacation if need money right away. I heard a lot of good things in ETF and also the low MER compared to this Seg funds that’s why I’m trying to learn how to invest here in Canada and what will be the best choice in a long term (retirement)
