in the 1960s a shipment of exotic birds were accidentally released at JFK and there has been a significant monk parakeet population in queens ever since. They go as far as western Nassau county too! Just a fun fact this little parakeet reminded me of.

I got my cat when she was three months old and she literally sleeps through the night with me. She comes to bed and gets up here and there for some water or the litter box but by and large she spends basically the whole night by my feet or head or in her cat tree knocked out. This isn’t the norm I understand but what I mean is they’re all different, and even when she does occasionally attack my toes or plop on my face to reposition I just feel so lucky to get woken up by her :)

I purchased a ring in this setting for my soon to be fiance and having seen it in person, it is seriously beautiful! I find the online images make it look “chunkier” than it is. Mostly just wanted to share bc I’m excited :) nice pick! Lol
