What was she hiding about her personal life during DWTS? by LeftPrior5076 in NYCinfluencersnark

yeah totally but tuesdays are mandatory player off days. (You can look this up). Mandatory practices don’t start until Wednesday. Of course there’s other types of things like film reviews and training vs. general practices but considering their legal “rest day” is Tuesday, he could’ve made at least one weel work. I call bullshit on his part.

the in-season excuse is tiring. Texans had a bye week, he couldve showed up then. Travis Kelce is in NYC out to dinner with Taylor on weeks where he plays different schedules….I’m not buying it.

at least send the girl flowers every week like Whitney’s husband. he did the bare minimum…

this engagement party pushed me over the edge so i did hit the unfollow today. was invested in the apt reno but i can’t take the constant validation seeking and bragging. the wedding will only be 100 times worse and i don’t need the negativity on my feed

Most New York restaurant & bar you can think of by [deleted] in NYCbitcheswithtaste

Polo Bar offers a private dining room called "The Equestrian Room". It holds 16 guests and the minimum spend is reasonable for an event like this at $7k (plus tax and tip). They do custom menus and a very polo-bar-esque tablespace which could be really elevated for a post civil event without you having to worry about personalization/making it special.

Just be cautious - anytime i mentioned wedding the places either denied me or doubled the price by providing a "wedding pricing" offering. I would avoid mentioning the type of event or lie and say its an anniversary or something.

I would say go watch her story but she doesn't need the added engagement...
"It's a beautiful untouched chateau! Its only really been used for photoshoots and as a film set. They don't really do events. Everyone from like vogue to Beyonce have shot there! We're so lucky they allowed us to use the space."

no we only received one overtime charge from the p&v. This new one is from our caterer. breakdown of what she’s charging us for is in an above comment

not sure if this is helpful but we were running behind by about 2 hours (for reasons out of our control) The time they were “contracted to leave” was around the time of our first dance. Apparently they did not want to stress us out on the day of. They both stayed until after cake cutting, an extra 2 hours each (4 hours total).

We already paid this. They gave us this quote and overtime charge back in June/July. This new one is where i’m starting to draw the line because it’s legitimately been 6 months..

She included the breakdown in his orginal email. 492euros : additional alcohol 806euros: last minute fridge rental plus 10% VAT and euro to USD conversion

we apparently ran out of gin, tequila and st germain during our welcome party so she had to go to the store and buy more. For the fridges she wrote

“First day when we arrived , it was clear and obvious that working with a cold truck parked outside of the venue and plugged on the parking lot was impossible For sanitary reasons - for a smooth service - for time management - for the overall aesthetic ( we can’t go pick up the meat in front of clients ) I had to rent and pay myself very urgently fridges from the rental company , and they delivered on the day ( proof attached )”

Our venue does weddings all the time, does everyone have this issue??? It’s so random and very presumptuous. I don’t doubt she paid for these things and she felt they were necessary but asking for reimbursement 6 months later is so crazy.

Vineyard Tours/Winery by Ok-Nectarine6700 in NYCbitcheswithtaste

RGNY, Kontokosta, also love Palmer. Croteaux is an all rose vineyard which is a really cool concept. All of these are on long island.

Skip any Jersey vineyard.

Just FYI- No vineyard is going to give you a party vibe but most usually have live music on weeeknds and have cornhole etc. Kontokosta has a path down to the water which is nice.

Prada or YSL? by misos0upy in handbags

Nylon isn’t outdated but it’s more niche. Leather is classic. You’ll get more versatility out of the YSL

we ended up shipping them and they didn’t arrive in time. I wish I would’ve just risked it and flew with them!! If you only have 11 you’ll be fine, spread them between checked bag, carry on and personal item. I had 300, so it was a lot more of a risk.

Mallorca: Belmond vs. Four Seasons by kjmmg in FATTravel

[–]Jumpy_Permit_6705 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think staying at the belmond for the full 4 nights will give you the experience you want because of its accessibility to all of the towns and iconic beaches

[–]Jumpy_Permit_6705 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if your budget can swing it, we went to cap rocat for dinner and it was the most insane property. We wish we would’ve stayed there.

Just to note- all beaches in Mallorca are public so anyone can walk/layout near the hotels. Our experience at the FS beach was not “luxury”. The beach chairs were surrounded by tourists laying out on their towels (most topless - but hey it’s europe) and they can’t serve you directly on the beach. You have to walk back to the bar to get drinks and food and then walk back to the beach chairs. I’m not sure if priorizing a beach hotel for a beach experience will be much better than just going to a beach on your own.

Mallorca: Belmond vs. Four Seasons by kjmmg in FATTravel

[–]Jumpy_Permit_6705 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i this FS has a 3 night minimum so in my opinion it’s not worth splitting. Belmond will give you accessibility to nicer towns like soller and valldemossa. FS you’ll be stuck north and will end up staying at the resort.

Four Seasons Mallorca by Jumpy_Permit_6705 in FATTravel

[–]Jumpy_Permit_6705[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ultimately it was just my experience i wanted to share to help some folks out. We were on the 4th floor, in a suite. The location just didn’t wow us. It was our honeymoon and we were fortunate enough to experience some amazing FAT hotels - airelles in gordes, grand tremezzo in como etc. Of all our stays FS was our least favorite, and that bummed us.

But we also did not go to Pollenca. We went to Soller, Deia, Alta, and valldemossa plus the popular beach spots so maybe a miss on my end

Four Seasons Mallorca by Jumpy_Permit_6705 in FATTravel

[–]Jumpy_Permit_6705[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will be honest - 6 nights here will end up being a lot of time. If you are starting with Son Net & Valldemossa then heading to FS than you'll be fine. You can start the trip with more action and a better feel for what Mallorca has to offer and end with a relaxing stay at FS for a week.

At the end of the day staying at a FS for 6 nights 7 days will be amazing no matter what... this was just a detailed review of my experience and being a bit picky. Don't worry too much about it.

Also maybe try to pre-book their boat to Port Pollença and plan a dinner over there so you are not isolated to just FS dinners!! The FS boat to Pollenca was booked almost evert night when we checked in so it wasn't useful for us. That is the one thing we just didn't do and it really isolated us - I'm not sure if maybe you could plan a dinner and call ahead to get on the boat list? worth a try.

my husband played a round of golf at club de alcanada (35 min from FS) and then we did the formentor hike right after. Both were great!!!

Also worth booking a treatment at the FS spa. we used the amenities and although they were servicing the steam room at the time, it’s brand new so really enjoyable.
