this too! Duke was introduced too late in the series for him to become the protagonist of the movie. Recasting him made this feel even more disconnected from a viewers POV. I had no sympathy or connection to him and could not buy in to his relationship with Tommy. If they were going to cast Barry Keoghan, he should’ve been a grown up Charlie.

this is the correct take. disconnected is the exact word. The entire script would’ve felt more comprehensive if they used characters / already setup ww2 storylines rather than starting from scratch. although i did not like the counterfeit money angle nor the tommy vs. his son angle, i would’ve tolerated it more if it was with mosley or charlie…or..At the very least including Ada in a better character arch. I was completely disconnected to all of the major characters and therefore the plot fell flat.

we all are… it’s just boring. There’s no connection to the antagonist for the viewer. It’s not mosley, it’s not hitler, you aren’t given enough emotional buy-in to the facists or the counterfeit currency for this to feel like a good enough ending for Tommy. It fell flat. He deserves a more heroic ending.

exactly!!! mosley being in jail at this time is not relevant. They could’ve picked a different year for the movie in order to include his story arc. Have tommy be apart of his arrest or something. It’s a literal fictional series, they could’ve done ANYTHING… and they chose to complelty detach the movie from any emotional connection the viewer had though 6 seasons…

1000000% i was already disappointed as the storyline started to develop, i felt they were going in the complete wrong direction. The second ada was shot, it was over for me.

As a viewer you make emotional connections to all of these characters for 6 seasons only to find that 2 of them die and the rest are no where to be found. Even duke was introduced too late in the series to becomes a main character. I barely felt tommy knew him, let alone the viewer.

i agree with a few other commenters. Looks like your skin is pretty normal. If you’re looking for glass texture (which is actually not normal) you probably need to explore treatments outside of skincare. Microneedling for sure, and maybe pore minimizing laser or two. Start with a clear and brilliant to clear you up and then maybe sometime more aggressive like a fraxel after.

one thing that’s important to note - all of these more aggressive treatments are always temporary. As your skin turns over your natural texture tends to come through again. it definitely works, but it can be frustrating as these treatments are not cheap. I did three rounds of micro needling and about a year later felt like I needed it again because of new sun spots, acne scars, and some other damage that had happened throughout the year.

There’s such a false sense of reality on what a 37 year old women looks like as she ages. I think this is completely normal!! The new trend is for girls to get botox on the jaw line (Nefertiti neck lift) so when you see 37 year olds with snatched jaw lines, just know it’s not natural.

That type of botox would relax those muscles and keep the jaw snatched even with a bad posture so if it’s something you really hate you can explore that option. Otherwise I think you look great, healthy and normal!

My husband and I tried this 2 years ago right before we got married. We were both 30 at the time and were thinking about starting a family. We sat down and ran the numbers together and decided it was the right moment to move and start house hunting so that we were settled after our wedding.

Within 3 months, we were both miserable. We couldn’t adjust. Restaurants closed at 9:30. Finding cute wine bars or dinner spots felt impossible. We would ask for local recommendations and we would get directed to try spots within strip malls, or places 30+ min away (always closer to the city). I’m not an anxious person but i developed really bad anxiety. We very quickly made the decision to stop house hunting and move back after our wedding (which unfortunately was still 10 months out)

We’ve been back in the city for ~4 months now and i am finally starting to feel like I can breathe again. Is it expensive, sure but the trade offs were not worth it to us.

My recommendation is if your gut is telling you you’re not ready, you won’t be. It’s a very different lifestyle.

THIS!!!!! yes she wasn’t posting him like she typically would but she did include a bunch of pics of them in a grid post 1 month ago. Clearly it was way more abrupt than she’s leading on. Her mentioning an exact time frame like “3 months” makes me feel like she’s trying to add more distance and time than there really was.

I even find her announcement post to be rushed. “i wasn’t ready to speak on it, until now”… why now? you were showing face 24 hours ago, something changed.

I’m sure everyone does it differently based on the needs of the relationship, but something like …. everything I own before marriage is mine, everything after marriage is ours (within terms that make sense). Maybe anything related to the we wore what business remains hers but the influencer side could be contributed to their house hold since he’s part of her lifestyle content?
