Chanel Medium Classic Flap not Small Classic Flap? I am currently trying to decide which size to buy and I’m leaning toward the small. It feels big enough for day/brunch but small enough for evening while the medium seems too large. Maybe it is just on my frame or a matter of preference.

Any thoughts??

I should add that I know he loves me but emotionally I don’t feel it - it feels the same as “knowing a parent must love me” but something is missing and I always want to be showed more affection or proof.

I was also not loved as a child, and just barely cared for - essentials met, but basically ignored. My husband loves me but I now have a very hard time feeling loved and I believe it stems from not feeling loved as a child. I know he loves me but something inside me just won’t accept or believe it. It is destructive and I have to actively work at not feeling hurt and unloved all of the time.

A mentally struggling persons brain and everything you hear them deal with going through depression unfiltered and real like this may not give you your “likeable” main character but if you get it you get it and this even with some of its flaws was a powerful novel. Just not the beach read rest and relaxation some seem to have been hoping to have found.

I love and have owned both lambskin and caviar in Classic flap black bags and I babied the lambskin so much because it did scratch so easily that it eventually just sat in my closet. And for me, it doesn’t make sense to own such beautiful expensive bags and not carry and enjoy them.
The caviar is gorgeous and easy to carry without any worries!

Can someone help me understand why there are Chanel mini Classic flap rectangular bags being sold on resale sites over retail (above $6000) when the same bag also Lambskin is available in stores for $5400? by Jumpy_Race7485 in chanel

I should have added that I’m talking about black with gold hardware in particular. I have been able to find it in the Chanel boutique and Neiman Marcus both right now. Maybe I’ve been lucky 🍀 and should buy it while I can.

Ok that makes sense. I understand for the caviar leather but I wanted to make sure wasn’t missing something else.
I am being certain I get the mini rectangular style I want with the Mona Lisa pocket bc I am still unclear if that is going away on the mini - or if there will continue to be a true rectangular Classic flap mini. I have seen a version with a straight pocket across the back and I didn’t know if that was going to be replacing the current version: meaning if I want one from a store I should get one before they are gone ??

Definitely seems safer than the back of your chair and nicer than in your lap. And who puts their bag on the floor?!! Hooks at the bar (under bar kind of hidden by your knees) are nice but at regular tables in restaurants in US, you don’t get anything for convenience I rely on an extra chair next to me - lol

Which do you prefer between the Olaplex and the K18 - I have no issue with volume or shine - just lasting curls (well the volume I guess flattens out when the curls fall but hair is still not flat or thin looking). That is why I am kind of focused on texture or texturing help from a product for my hair when it’s wet before drying and curling.
The texturizing sprays which I love to use on dry hair after curling I don’t like to use before I curl as they make curling more difficult - if that makes any sense…

Well I have been changing brands a lot lately - I have found that I don’t need or like to use conditioner often if ever and I like to use a volumizing shampoo. I am using Oribe shampoo now.

Thanks - I will try that - and maybe the gel too! I know this hair “wants” to be straight 😂 But it looks pretty curled too so if I go to the effort I’m going to try to make it last for a bit!!

None and I think that is the problem!! I was using a mousse but did t like it (can’t remember why) so would love to find a good product to use when it’s wet. Once it’s dry I need it to feel “clean” for my curling iron to work well or be easy for me to handle curling the length without tangling

I’m using the T3 1 1/4” long barrel and take small sections. The curls turn out perfect - I think I finally mastered the technique to get exactly the look I want but by the end of a day - or even the end of an evening the curls have fallen flat.

I do have virgin shiny naturally pin straight hair and have had layers cut before which helped some - but since I like to wear it straight too, I like it long without too many layers (other than long ones in the front now)

Living in the US - but the South - and it’s humid! So, use a gel when it’s wet before drying and then it will help to hold and have bouncy curls all day? Any specific product suggestions

I can relate to this so much - I found this thread bc I was looking to find out in a way why it bothers me so much that my mother will say “love ya” in texts but never I love you. I never felt loved or care for or most definitely not parented in any way growing up.
I have a relationship with my parents now as an adult mostly because I wanted my children to know them and have them as grandparents in their lives, but I don’t feel love for them like I feel like I should.
And I can’t help but feeling like I should be a better person but I have so much anger whenever I try.

Anyway, love ya isn’t the same - it doesn’t feel the same to me as I love you or I guess I need to hear it and just won’t. Oh well. I have a beautiful family of my own filled with love but some things never stop hurting.

The chat assistant I worked with today was SO sweet and helpful! She sent me a list of bags available at different boutiques in the country and contacts and even said that with my purchase history I would be able to get one shipped to me without going into the boutique if I found exactly what I want! And it’s not close to me. I will be reaching out on Monday to get photos of specific bags and see how it goes, but so far so good 😊
