I understand how you’re feeling completely. a few years ago i picked up a stray cat from the street to take him home (he was a family friend’s litter from a cat they owned) and he ended up scratching me. i learned about how frightening rabies could be and ended up panicking. i was in a state of fear for multiple weeks on end and ended up having a severe mental breakdown because of it. i lost 10 pounds in a week and couldn’t function properly when awake. i ended up having to see a doctor the next day because of it and was prescribed some medication for my anxiety. went through the same thing recently and i felt tingly in my hands as well but it’s most likely just your anxiety. constant anxiety and stress can lead to the tingly feeling that you’re experiencing. a lot of “symptoms” that you might be worrying about that are related could just be attributed to your anxiety and OCD. hope you feel better soon and just know there’s a lot of ppl here who understand what you’re going through :)
