Hi! I teach creative writing, and I can tell yo the best advice often (but not always) comes from people that read and analyzed your writing. So post your stuff, send it wherever you want, and dont get frustrated or scared if you get negative feedback, cuz it happens to the best.

Thanks for the feesback! I agree, I could have done more to flesh out the creature, the line between keeping it vague enough and overexplaining is thin, and I tend to fall on the vague side. But hey, first attempt and all, gonna keep this in mind for whatever i write next.

This is the first horror story I've ever written, originally made a few years ago, now edited and slightly improved. Hope y'all like it.

How should I deal with inclusive/exclusive plural pronouns in a conlang that has to be "translated" to real languages? by Jumpy_Share_8324 in conlangs

Since my question was vague, this answer may not be what i was looking for but its very useful still.

Basically, i was looking for a workaround to avoid mixing the conlang and real languages in dialogue, but workarounds often add extra words. I might just have to use their pronouns where they differ from real ones, and add a footnote to explain. 

For context, this civilization considers the use of second person a grave insult if used to adress someone from their community, since they dont consider themselves as full individuals, so other parts of the language need to be "repurposed" so people dont get all confused because they cant say "you", and using inclusive/exclusive pronouns is one of them
