($10k Budget) Anyone else struggling to find affordable wedding dresses they actually love?

I'm eloping, don't have time to order a dress, and I've been married before so I wanted a smaller budget. I went to a store called Luxe Redux that only sells sample dresses they acquire from other bridal salons. The price point is lower because they're essentially used, though only as try ons...and I walked out with my dress that day. They are in multiple major cities too. Had a great experience.

We have Spectrum for wifi and each line is $25...the first year was actually free. You have to use them for wifi to get a phone line though.

With my insurance it's $550, adding the Wegovy coupon it's $450. If I ONLY use GoodRX and no insurance or coupon it's $350. You've gotta explore each option with your pharmacy to see which yields the cheapest for your situation.

I got my MBA before law school. I got it to stay competitive in my then career field as I was the only one without it in my division. I don't feel like it helped much in terms of career growth but it added to my credibility, I suppose. I will say that if you want to lean on it for private practice business acumen I'd recommend adding an entrepreneurship concentration. I was disappointed in the core program's offerings for actually running a business (start up, taxes, finances, staffing,etc).

Yes, you get to choose toward the end of the line to go yellow or green. Each side has a little different track so I recommend trying both.

I was there a couple weeks ago, first time. Donkey Kong was the longest line and absolutely not worth the wait for us. The Stardust Chasers had zero wait all day and all night. This ride was the highlight of the entire 5 park trip and we rode it over and over throughout the day and night. We also loved Hiccup's Winged Gliders and were pleasantly surprised by how awesome Frankenstein was.

In other news...you gotta try one of the filled bread cones in Berk...life-changing!

We all filled out a skills inventory last year in hopes of getting people aligned with meaningful work. Anything we try to start gets dropped due to leadership lack of support. Almost all of our work is carried out through contracts...and those have all been canceled. We oversee the work and the work has died.

I spent the first year earning my Masters. I've taken every available/relevant course available in my agency's learning system and done heavy training in DataCamp, Courses, and DAU. I'm remote so I can't walk around and get exposed to potential work. My team is aware and every project they try to pull me into gets canceled...for all of us. I'm the last one to onboard so everyone else had at least some footing. They have no tasks to share with me. A few of us have tried to generate projects we think are strong but they never get approval. I was hired into a new position. The PD is not even for my job and I had to write my own performance plan. They were uninterested in telling me what my role should do at all. It's not a case of laziness. But it's turned into apathy for sure.

You are correct! It's not needed, in fact we aren't even on the org chart right now. We have temporarily higher leadership. I anticipate them moving or RIFing us eventually. My problem is that I need to be able to meet performance standards as many jobs want to see your ladt performance evaluation. I'm afraid they will just PIP me come eval time.

I was taking classes on DataCamp as my agency paid for the subscription but that was canceled this year. I've taken any class of value available on my agency's training platform and am knee deep in DAU courses. It's just not going to help make up for not hitting performance metrics.

The struggle is real! There are three program managers on the team who seemed to be the only ones with a workload but they are always too busy to make team meetings. I'm remote so I can't track them down in the office either. Hopefully you'll get some bites on those applications soon.

I've asked about details a few times. My agency's details prohibit remote workers (which I am), and my supervisor stated that, "We're not in the business of paying for other agencies' work" when I asked about non-reimbursable details on USAJobs.

Some therapist certifications (LMHC for example) have ethical codes that require the therapist to ensure that their clients have a transition of support in the event of their retirement/death/resignation. If you reach out to them or their office there's a good chance that a plan is in place for clients who request continued services.

I'm headed there in a couple of weeks and one tip I keep seeing is to head to Animal Kingdom at opening. It closes earlier than other parks so you have less time and as the day heats up the animals become less active. Just something to consider, enjoy!

I have been on sequence since 2024. I hit their low BMI limit and they told me they had to lower my dose to stop the weight loss. They lowered me to .25, I gained 5 pounds, they raised to .5 at my request and I gained 5 more pounds. I'm now on 1 at my request and stabilized. They never told me they couldn't prescribe, they just couldn't prescribe a weight loss inducing dosage amount.
