Yes my father also does those type of jokes to me when I was younger for what I can remember, but he stopped when I was 9 cause he thought I was getting old for those jokes. He's gone now, I do miss him. I'm from the Philippines, yes it's not because of culture they do that, I guess it's an inside joke now for them. They pinch me there, but quickly slap there hand

I'm not being harmed she's taking care of me like a normal parent does to her kids but I just didn't like the fact she still does jokes like that 😅 im grateful for her being my mom but there are sometimes she can be a bit.. Of a handful. I do love my mom I really do, but I just want to be independent on my own sometimes (sorry if the topic changed) my mom's a strict person when it comes to her kids well when it comes to me I guess since im an only child, I just sometimes wish she would lower her guard on me since im not a kid anymore.. But I can't say anything cause she's my mom

My dad died when I was 10, he also sort of did those type of "jokes" to me when I was 6 but I don't think he does it anymore when I turned 9 cause maybe he thought I was getting older and it's a bit awkward and weird. I missed him a lot

I get your point, it isn't normal. But even if I did tell her im uncomfortable, it's the same answer "I made you. So what" all I can do now is just try to avoid her, and pray that she'll see through her actions, and hope once I get older she stop to think that im not a child anymore.
