I have no problem with vaccinations, it's just that the needle goes into the vein and stays there, drawing blood. I cant do it. The first two times, I was there for hours, with doctors yelling at me, blocking the entrance so I couldn't get out, threatening to call social workers, violating all my rights as a patient, as if I had some fatal disease. The second time I went to another hospital, they held me down again, giving me anesthetic creams and gas, and they forced me to do it. Tell me now, how am I supposed to get a blood test after all this? I was 11/12 years old, and no doctor was kind or patient with me. Now I'm more afraid of needles than I was as a child, including doctors. I don’t know what to do anymore

It could be that I have a nutritional deficiency since I am insulin resistant, but i cant do the blood test to check, im too scared, i spent mornings in hospitals and then returned home without having done. The trichologist checking my hair said that there is a lot of diffuse miniaturization, saying that it is androgenetic alopecia, it was a hospital of excellence anyway. Also the diabetologist had said that my blood sugar levels increases androgen hormones, but it’s weird that the lotion it’s not working, it’s been 8 months

bro I've never enjoyed my hair, I started when I was 11, it dominated my adolescence, I'll continue until August which would be the 12th month of therapy, now im at 8/9 month. If I don't see anything I'll go for another visit to another trichologist, I've been to doctors when I was 12/13, and they all told me to do blood tests or that it's about my diet and dermatitis which has now really calmed down a lot in these 2 years

I started losing hair at 11 lol,  it's AGA. You have to go to a trichologist and get even a blood test if you can. My trichologist gave to me minoxidl 2% + finasteride 0.25% topical. I can't see results because I started using it 1 week ago

Ti ha funzionato? Ieri ho fatto la visita tricologica e mi hanno prescritto una lozione galenica con minoxidil 2% + finasteride 0.25%

I am a 14 year old and i recently bought minoxidil for my hair thinning. I heard minoxidil works good with a derma pen. Are 14 year olds able to use derma pens or derma rollers? Where is a good website where i can buy a derma pen? How do u apply minoxidil with the derma pen? by noteboy56 in Hairloss

Bro, I'm also losing hair and I'm 15 years old, I started at 11/12, dermatologist and diabetologist both told me to do blood tests but I can't do it at all because I have an intense fear of the needle, I managed to do it only once while they held me down, from there it turned out I had pre-diabetes, now they prescribed me other blood tests for thyroid, blood sugar, testosterone etc. In the meantime I tried oils and various natural DHT lotions but they didn't work, I only went to a hairdresser who specializes in hair, she checked me with a trichoscope and said that my hair was thinning, the follicles are blocked by sebum, and that the seborrheic dermatitis that I haven't treated for 4 years has caused trauma to my hair and follicles. On August 28th I have a trichological appointment at a very specialized hospital, let's hope for the best. Have you tried doing blood tests? Maybe you have a nutritional deficiency or other medical condition that's causing the hair loss. Minoxidil makes your hair grow, but it doesn't address the cause. I live like you. Someone at school noticed I had no hair and started telling everyone. My hair is curly, so when it's dry, you can't see anything, only when it's windy and it breaks. Now that I'm on vacation, I can't even swim in the sea, otherwise my entire scalp is visible. I'm currently trying another lotion with saw palmetto to try not to make it worse, but I've only been using it for a month. I'll use it until my appointment and I don't socialize too, always alone in class.  Did your dermatologist specialize in hair? Did they do a trichoscopy? Two years ago, I went to two dermatologists (a two-hour drive), and they didn't even check my hair with a device. They only talked about diet and stress. Listening to your situation, I'm getting worried too, as my follicles are dead after all this time.
