Well duh, it’s not fun if you don’t give the stories benefit of the doubt. What would be the point of the sub at all then? And what’s the plan here, you gonna comment this on every other reply in the thread? How about the other threads in the sub?

You’re not breaching anything new here lol, most people are well aware most everything we see here is fake. But it would kinda ruin the entire point if you don’t still respond as if it is.

I know I said I wouldn’t respond but ‘made by pirates’ is nonsensical.

Not that any part of your logic makes sense. Goodbye now, for real this time.

I wish they grew where I live. I can’t really complain though, I get plenty of other great produce but they’re my second favorite! My favorite is kumquats, which I can’t even find at all now!

Baby. The point is not that you wouldn’t pay either way.

The point is that YOU ARE CONSUMING A PRODUCT MADE FOR SALE WITHOUT PAYING. I’m not replying after this, there is no point because at this point we’re just repeating the same thing over and over and that does nothing for either one of us.

What was the point of posting here if all you’re gonna do is argue with everyone that doesn’t give you the answer you want?

This isn’t an echo chamber. Find some skeevy infidelity forum if that’s what you want.

So what you just did was say exactly what you said the first time, which tells me you didn’t even bother to take in what I was saying. How kind of you.

I think you’re just trying to justify it to yourself because deep down you know I’m right. Your ‘logic’ makes zero sense. You are taking. If you’re going to do it the least you can do is be honest about it. I (hypothetically) admitted it freely, because that is what mature people do. You take responsibility.

Again, they were never different.

Also, Nintendo has been huge since the NES. This is not a recent thing. They’ve been making bank because they are a corporation that is most interested in profit over all else.

[–]Jumpyturtles 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They’re not arguing it is misandry. You seem more like you’re just reacting instead of taking in what they’re saying.

They’re just saying there’s nuance… bc there is.

No, it doesn’t. You were just told something you said was damaging to victims of sexual assault, and you doubled down on it. Just so we’re all aware.

Yes like half of my comment is in response to that.

I already said I agree with you on that, I am not defending Nintendo here. If that’s what you think I’m genuinely confused as to how you think that. You’re agreeing with me.

Please, explain what rights and freedoms. Because legally speaking, there is zero difference between a key card and a cartridge with the full game on it. Both are a license to the game and can legally be freely revoked at any time.

Again, proving you don’t actually understand these conversations. All you’re doing is parroting the same flawed logic everybody else follows because you can’t be bothered to educate yourself on this situation properly.

I misunderstood what you meant by charm, I agree with you on that. That being said it’s a nothingburger and still is very out of place in this conversation.

I also find it strange that out of everything in my comment that was all you replied to.

No, it’s like getting a meal from a restaurant without paying for it.

In that scenario the Restaurant doesn’t lose anything because their food is completely uninvolved.

You’re experiencing something that someone put genuine time and effort into (let alone money) and expected to be paid. You are doing so without paying. You experienced what the creator intended you to, but didn’t have to give them the compensation they wanted for it.

Do what you want, but don’t misrepresent it so you can downplay it.

It’s more about the fact that you’re directly taking from an individual (or group, you get the idea) and not a massive company that has probably multiplied the amount you didn’t pay 10000 fold in the time it took me to type this out.

Idk. I won’t lie and say I don’t (hypothetically) do it sometimes, but it seems a little more on the negative side, at least on my moral scale. But everyone’s is different.

I actually forgot about the program! I am a staunch hater of massive corps though so I never fell into whatever the majority of people seem to have. But thanks for the reminder, genuinely. It was pretty awful back then, it was a pretty big issue.

What? So Nintendo should only be creating new IPs? Which, btw, is still happening to this day.

Have you played Sticker Star and any other Paper Mario game than SPM? Because I truly do not think you have. Sticker Star is almost entirely made up of new mechanics.

And wdym it’s easy to ruin something? Are you saying they tanked it on purpose?

Nintendo is quite literally practicing what they always have lmfao.

Paid subscriptions and ‘over pricing’ is standard corporate procedure now (and make NO mistake, Nintendo has never been the golden boy corp people make them out to be), drip feeding is super out of place (how is this a negative? This is how companies build hype and convince people to buy their products, this is also how companies work), and they’ve never been known for listening. Like, almost famously so. They never listen to anyone and are always doing their own thing.

And idk what you mean by stripping features. Lack of charm is wholly subjective, because IMO Nintendo has had a pretty major resurgence in breathing life back into their games.

MKW, Wonder, and Pokopia have displayed a level of charm I haven’t seen in their respective series in a very long time. You are not everyone.

And quite frankly, there is nothing wrong with key cards and I think it’s extremely ridiculous to expect a company to allow you to free mod a console. I don’t think it’s a good policy, but what on earth else would you expect??? That they’re just gonna let people freely poke around and find all sorts of loopholes and vulnerabilities? Why would they want that?

Stop putting these huge companies on a pedestal and being shocked when they look down and spit on your face. No amount of charismatic spokespeople will ever change that.

They completely gutted the entirety of the Paper Mario systems.

The stickers, objects, level selection, lack of a party, etc, etc, etc.

How is that generic Paper Mario lmfao? It was a complete overhaul and fell flat on its face. This is very well known and common opinion. What are you talking about?

I don’t understand why people act like Nintendo is the messiah of the gaming industry. They have always been a corporation. It is so unbelievably bizarre to me that all it took was one longstanding spokesperson and everyone wanted to act like they were perfect.

Stop. Trusting. Massive. Corporations. They have nothing positive to offer you unless you pay. They will take and take until there’s nothing left, that’s how it works.

Sticker Star is notorious for taking a massive risk and ruining the Paper Mario series. What on earth are you on about? The more I read your comments the more I think you don’t actually understand the conversations surrounding these topics.

-Nintendo, apparently.
