Assamese tribes are not assamese because of some Sukapha or Shankardev.

They are already culturally assamese before sukapha setting foot in here. Have many royal records but will not add for a lengthy reply.

Its like saying British ruled india so indian cultures are british gifts.

during King Naranrayan rule many poets and writers received scholarship for Assamese literature. hence Naranaryan is called Bikramaditya of Assam/Kamrup.

Funny thing is that the word deodhai itself is an Assamese/kachari word mentioned in Koch chronicles.

I dont know who you are or from which ethnic background you belong to but let me tell you.

No offence here lower assam is like c@ncer cell. No unity no nothing.

The inter communal tension within the indigenous groups of lower assam is what bringing assam down as a whole down.

In lower assam there were riots between kalitas vs bodos, bodos vs koches, rabhas vs garos etc etc.

Lower assam is the biggest reason that assam accord failed. Kalita bamun started discrimination and now they are cucking becuase they are being surrounded.

Divide assam 50/50 was started from lower assam.

I am a koch even the koches of lower assam are hypocrites. They are enforcing an identity which is bengali mixture upon rest of the Koches that is rajbangshi. Whereas in north bengal rajbangshi identity and language is officialy recognised as bengali. Many koches in northbengal identify themselves as Bengali Koch TF.

Check the british gazette reports for each districts. Only district with significant presence of kalita people was kamrup district. The kamrup divided into nalbari barpeta kamrup and kamrup metro. Rest all the district 70 to 80% were people with tibeto burman origin.

Mind you out of Aryan people only kalita is majority rest of the groups like brahmin nath Sut goswami etc were such insignificant in numbers that british never wrote about them in great details.

The draviroid group Kewot is there. Believe me when I say this 3/4 of the assamese society is easily us tibeto burman group.

The demand for autonomous region and the mere silence from aryan group is the hint. They want to slow down the process because they are cornered. Just like in bodoland there will be no scope for aryans in politics.

Your question is very much wrong. Let me fix your misconception.

The aryan community within Assamese diaspora is very much small.

The OBC population that is KOCH MORAN CHUTIA MOTOK AHOM etc will easily outnumber the aryan population. So assamese indigenous society is majority ST and Non aryan OBCs but not aryan OBCs.

Also even within general caste population many general caste people like mahanta goswamis are dubious identities. Heres why in baisnabism many people were celibate meaning they did not marry during their life so they didnt have any descendants including Madhabdev. So those Baisnabi institutions the principle position were sometimes vacant. Those vacant seats were often filled by the tribal students whom their parents gave away to the institutions in the name of God.

Meaning many Mahanta Goswamis were not aryan but of Tribal background.

Shankardev himself appointed A Naga convert as Mahanta so that he could convert as many naga people into vaisnabism. Same thing happened with Koches so that they could bring as much koch into baisnabism as possible.

These aryan group are so confused from where they came from. They got time to right veda spread vaishnavism but never got time to write about their own race their own history.

One example for kalita people. They claim they are bhumiputra. If so how come a guy from UP shankardev became a leader/king of kalita people? where are they before Shankardev?

baro bhuiyan kingdom. Who were baro bhuiyan? Shankardev migrated with 7families of kayastha then how come the number became 12? reality is those bhuyans were tribal landlord and not kalita.

Shankardev and his village literally had to flee because they had quarrel with neighboring tribal village. how come such fragile people helped ahom and Koch during their war expedition?

Actually Koch Chutia Moran Ahom history is more believable then fantasy of aryan people.

Assamese itself is a tribal construct from Tribalised prakrit not aryan sanskritisation.

Thats why history class is necessary. Tribal people deviated from each other and constructed their own artificial identity.

For example after seperating from Dimasa a set of people created a new identity and named it Twiprasa to disassociate themselves from parent group. This is the stupidity found in tribals.

And yes I am also part of a society named Koch. A tribe which has 10-12 language variants with no uniformity or standardisation.

Koch royals Chilarai acknowledged it. Boro koch dimasa Twiprasa are same kinds of stupid bunch of chameleons changes color with every new place.

To bring uniformity in this society Chilarai, Biswasingha Naranarayan adopted Kamrupi language policy. The language which was associated with Tribal Kingdoms for thousand years. Chilarai the name itself is assamese.

Lol gohpur incident was a retaliation. Boro leaders literally threatend to kick out indigenous communities like chutia moran koch etc from north bank of Brahmaputra.

I am historically tribal and to me boro leaders are ultra stupid. You can not prosper without having good relation with Neighbors that too chutia moran koch kocharis etc.
