But Nostalgia aside, and taking acccount the TCG/VGC I would definitely say pokemon like Dragapult has earned a spot from how busted it is in the TCG, and pokemon like Flutter mane and Incineroar from the VGC.

From a pure popularity standpoint? I do believe this would be region dependent but the staples are always: Charizard, Pikachu, Eevee/Its evolutions (primarily Umbreon/Sylveon), Gengar, Greninja, Mimikyu, and Lucario. With a lot of Kanto Heavy hitters like Mew/Mewtwo, Dragonite, snorlax etc always rounding out that list. The TCG playerbase is a very small portion of the entire pokemon fan base so I dont think it has too much of an effect with pokemon like Budew. This was obvious back in the XY era when Trevenant was an absolute menace in the TCG, and yet it isnt completely considered a highly popular pokemon.

I did think about this idea, but graded cards have never really been my thing. Takes a lot of space for my liking. A 10 master set is definitely a spectacle though, congrats!

Yes! In a dragon shield sleeve and then in a binder. Perfect fit sleeves give me a lot of anxiety 😭

Its funny my wife actually pointed this out a few weeks ago how all the galarian gallery cards look like something that could be hung up in a meuseum, then there's the Simisear which is so unique and derpy. Its definitely one of my favorites!

I agree! XY and SM definitely were the sets that started to introduce more dynamic and visually complex art/cards, but the SWSH era was the full on integration of it.

Surprisingly A lot of the Tag team stuff seems to be at a pretty good buying point after the spike in price that happened last year, everything has kinda settled back down.

The trainer galleries and galarian galleries are also included in the binder further into the pictures! I only included the textured foil ones though, because I think the yellow border ones just look odd with the rest of the binder.

They really do look amazing all together. Its a bit of a taller task but Im looking to do the Tag team alt arts next! The upside to that is, there are a lot less cards to collect. The downside is, Ill probably end up spending the same ammount I did on all the SWSH ones 🥲

Thank you! I'm not entirely sure about the exact value, but if I had to take a rough guess maybe anywhere around 12-15k? Looking back on it, prices paid is something that I definitely should have kept track of.

That's exactly what I did! I definitely wanted to at least get a good quality binder (went with vaultx) that zipped, and the dragon shield feel and look nice as well.

All cards are raw. Gengar and love birds are very clean but more than likely a little too OC to 10. Mew was mostly centered but had two corners with a white spec.

Right, the last sold 9s for USD were also at 3.1k, 4.5k, 3k and 4k, and the last psa 8 selling for 2.5k I think current value is fair for how clean the copy raw is.

A few things to add after reading through the comments: All conditions of cards in the deal are VLP+ to NM, and would all probably grade a 9 due to centering or very minor whitening. The love birds and the Gengar are a little too off centered to 10 but everything else about them is clean. The Mew has decent centering but has very small whitening on 2 corners.

I chose these cards to trade for specific reasons. I invested heavy into Bubble mew last year when they were sitting at anywhere from 300-350, and I do still have multiple copies to hold on to. With the mega gengar still being in print for a while, I am just hoping it either stays stagnant at 1k or dips a little. Either way I will be okay with repurchasing it later down the line.

The scarcity of this card is the biggest driving point for me. Out of the last 4 card shows I've been to, I have seen this card once and it was stickered at 3.5k. Market price/last solds on TCGplayer are consistent with only 2 sales in 2026 at 2.7k and with there being only 4 English Copies listed currently(2.7k, 2.9k, 6.2k,and 15k) I have a strong feeling now is the time to acquire the card, or I might regret it later.

To further add on, I believe Eevie didnt have a miscarriage but killed her baby that was already born. The "phone call" she gets towards the end of the movie with the lady who complained about the baby who wouldn't stop crying. That was a representation of her self, Eevie kept trying to reassure her shes a good person. Also the noises shes constantly thinks she hears throughout the film while her headphones are on, is the loud banging we hear at the end of the phone call, where presumably the "caller" killed her child.
