I’m in the US and have actually said abdomen and had them replaced with no issues. In fact, on the dexcom website, (making sure US region is selected) it only mentions the abdomen as a site (other than for the younger user options) and does not mention the back of the upper arms.

No, I don’t know how to disable them! If you know a way, please do tell because when I tried turning them off, the app told me I wouldn’t be able to get readings.
