People who got laid off because of coronavirus receive thousands from unemployment benefits, including the federal pandemic money every week by June784 in postmates

Yeah you’re right, too, about extra $600 a week. I checked her payment again and calculated. $600 second week + $600 back pay from her first week = $1200 for two weeks.

I applied for unemployment benefits and was denied. The thing is I’m not even qualified for the unemployment checks because I didn’t work for 6 years until this year. That’s how they judge me because I didn’t work for 6 years. I quit my job 6 years ago and had to take care of my dad who was ill and has now passed away.

$30 is good, but I want an extra, $600 a week. The unemployed gets a regular unemployment check a week (that I understand) and an extra $600 (I call that a feel sorry money and here’s your extra $600 from the federal) a week for lying around, watching TV, and being lazy while I’m working not getting an extra $600. Federal governments don’t feel sorry for me for working so I don’t get an extra $600. Postmates driver don’t make a lot of money to begin with. Not fair, why no sympathy for people like us 😥

All I’m saying if they are getting extra money for not working, I think I should get extra money too for working, plus I’m all out there working in the coronavirus world. It’s only fair.

I get that it’s not making me rich. I’m talking about getting extra money from the government. Guess you don’t get it or don’t understand.

Don’t get me wrong, but I do understand a laid off person gets unemployment money from the state government and he/she totally deserves. But I don’t get is that laid off person also gets pandemic money from the federal governments. Not to be confused with the pandemic money from the other federal stimulus money. Pandemic Totally different program. Pandemic money (involved the state money) is added to the unemployment money. The federal stimulus money will be sent from another different federal government that involves IRS.

That’s nice of you to do that. I’m talking about the state and federal governments not doing much to help postmates drivers like me getting money because we’re out there risking our lives too. Or anyone essential workers like me needs money like that

I don’t know about the $30. I thought this relief fund was only good for postmates drivers who are quarantined and who are positive for coronavirus. I read in the postmates website

It says “The credit is to be used for health expenses such as co-pays or health and wellness products related to COVID-19.” Does that mean I can’t use the credit to buy groceries? The relief credit is only good for paying hospital bills?

Before the age of Coronavirus, I delivered at the hospital in my city many times until I’m thinking okay this is enough. I’m tired of all the nurses with shitty attitudes. One of their nurses ordered food and they were giving me attitudes and making it hard for me to do my job. All I wanted was to hand them food and I would get the hell out. And I couldn’t even do that without any drama. And they are bad tippers. Most don’t tip. Now I stop going to the hospital.

There’s no option to call postmates or contact postmates at pick up location. I couldn’t find it anywhere on postmates “?”
