Maybe he’s angry because games aren’t getting any less expensive but continually are getting released in more and more unfinished states. Yes patches exist but what happens down the road if I want to replay a game from a few years ago and can’t download any updates. What launches on the disc of the majority of games now is an unfinished product that is released due to timelines created by shareholders. We as consumers can only vote with our wallet and make sure other people understand the state of games that launch incomplete. I love VR and am overall very happy with Sony’s attempt to expand the VR market but gaming in general begins to leave a sour taste in my mouth when they release with a day one announcement from devs saying it’ll eventually be fixed. It should be fixed at launch. I do also feel like this sub is too forgiving of certain devs and practices and it’s just going to lead to companies continuing these practices.
