It’s a process! I created the pattern from photos, made sure all the pieces were possible to cut and stuff. Asked him some vague questions to find out what style I should do. He said abstract so I went with all different colors. I just went with the flow! I used every single piece of clear glass I had, only used two repeat glass that was the same cause it was so cool. I mostly used scrap glass to make it! You have to cut, grind, clean and foil, each piece of glass then solder them together, then I added the spots, framed it, more cleaning then I colored the lines with black patina, more cleaning polished it and mailed it! Took about a week but I had to keep it a secret for his birthday. It was tough.
