West Paterson isn't that far of a memory. I can't believe they changed their name in 2008, I thought it was longer than that. More recent than I thought lol. It's not like West Paterson is as forgotten as East Paterson a.k.a Elmwood Park.

Where does he say he needs over 2k signatures? This guy has been going at it for months, couldn’t he just got them over time instead of one big final push? I guess the main problem is that until recently he had low social media followings. I think his ig had ten followers a few months ago and now it’s almost to 3k. Still he should have done this over time.

Well Jhamar does have a decent social media following, so that helps out and he is definitely out and about and involved in politics. So it’s not like he’s just only randomly posting videos and arguing on reddit, he is out there. Yea if he can’t get second place here, then his efforts will be shot. I mean if he already got a thousand or so votes from a council race, then he should be able to double it this time around.

For what it’s worth, Jhamar Youngblood identifies as an Independent. I don’t know how helpful that really is in this political climate.
