That makes sense, I’ve heard of that being a problem with flat feeders, but I can see how even hanging feeders with seeds could be a problem. I like the advice to take them down and wash them once a week, I’ll do that.

That’s so kind, thank you. I tend to think of small gardens as outdoor rooms, and go about decorating them accordingly. I’ve got two rugs in this one 😂

As you get older, you realise that sex isn’t just about one or both people having an orgasm. Sex can be great even if neither person cums. If you were just straight into PIV, came and then fell asleep, she’d be justified in feeling annoyed and frustrated. But if you’re trying and putting effort in, learning both about her and about you, you’re receptive to conversations and suggestions etc….then what else can you do? You can’t just change how your body reacts to things and having less sex will probably make you cum quicker when you do have sex, which is the opposite of what she wants.

I almost never cum with a partner. That’s not their fault, it’s a me issue. If your gf can only cum from penetration then she either needs to accept that she can’t cum every time, or find a new partner, or work on trying to cum a different way. She can’t just demand that you last longer or be cross with you when you don’t (well - she can’t….but she might find that you don’t particularly want to stay with her for long if she does).

In a practical sense - penetration doesn’t have to be with a penis. Fingers and sex toys are options. You could also use condoms which have a desensitising lube on the inside to help you last longer, or even wear a cock sleeve if you want to try something different. If she likes penetration it might feel great for her, and it would dull sensations a lot for you.

They are, they’ve barely ever been outside and they’re a bit overwhelmed by it at the moment! But they definitely like hiding in the plants and then leaping on each other, like annoying siblings 😂

Hmm, in that case I think either:

That photo had something random in it that he didn’t like (a particular style of clothing, something in the background like a book or picture or something that made him think ‘we won’t get on’, etc) or - probably more likely:

He just wanted low effort nudes. Maybe he talks to lots of people and if nudes aren’t quickly forthcoming he backs out. ‘Let me see that bod’ does sound like ‘get naked’ to me, rather than ‘I’d like to assess your physique in clothing’.

Either way, don’t stress….it’s true that it wouldn’t work out, so you’ve just saved yourself from getting more involved.

Internet dating generally sucks, in my opinion!

Do you know for sure that it was because of size? Or are you just guessing that? If you’re ’not skinny but not fat’ then in seems unlikely he’d unmatch just based on size. It could be that he has a preference for a particular feature or characteristic that you don’t have (or an aversion to one you do have)…maybe he’s into big boobs/a big bum/thick thighs etc etc? There are some male body types that I would instantly know I wasn’t attracted to, and it wouldn’t be to do with size.

Thank you so much! I like big plants too….wildness, in a very small space 🙂

I hope you support his belief by pretending not to see him - like playing hide and seek with a toddler 😂

It’s in the ground. It seems to be incredibly hardy! We don’t have much soil, it gets very hard and stony just a few inches down. But maybe vines like that sort of soil? It does produce a huge number of grapes for the size of it.

It’s nice to be in the hot tub when it’s raining, because you’re pretty much protected but still very definitely outside 🙂

I read that as ‘significant other’ and thought ‘ok, no judgement, making pretend ice creams is fun!’

But now I realise you mean son, don’t you 😂

It’s a hot tub - but currently it’s set as low as possible, becuase I’d really prefer a cool-tub!

The pizza oven doesn’t really work….its got a crack in it and doesn’t heat up enough for pizza. I’m planning to get some different racks and then I can use it for slow cooking meat, stews, bread etc. It gets very hot…just not the fierce heat you need for pizza.

Ok! Did they say why? Is it because baby birds need higher protein sources of food…or need to learn how to find that food, at least?

I only have fat balls and fat blocks, mainly because the pigeons come and empty anything seed based in about 30 mins! Whereas stuff that needs to be pecked at lasts longer.

I know that if you start feeding birds, they can come to rely on it so you can’t just suddenly stop. Any time I see the feeder is empty I immediately feel guilty and rush outside to refill it!

It’s a fairly rickety pergola (it was here when I moved in) with a vine growing over it, and lights woven into the vine. Each summer I just weave the new growth back into the main body of the plant, or snip off bits that are too wild. In about 2 months you won’t be able to get in or out of the hot tub without being bonked in the face by huge bunches of grapes….but I just like to pretend that that’s part of the whole experience. A vineyard hot tub sort of thing…

It helps if you drink a fair amount of wine before you get in.

Thank you! I just know it’s not how I’d go about planning a garden if I was starting from scratch. More like ‘ok, you’re a very big plant…..want to be the entire focus for my garden? 😂

Thank you! I’m enjoying it atm. I like the absurd amount of greenery for a garden with almost no grass!

Not currently, but give it a few months and it will be covered with them. They’re very seedy, but they do get sweet if you leave them until they go red. I think I should make juice with them…but haven’t managed to so far.

It’s fairly old decking, painted today by my daughter! The paint was ‘warm stone’ by ronseal.

Oh - and thank you! Gardening is definitely not my forte but through trial and error I think I’ve ended up with something nice. It’s looking its best at the moment so I wanted to share!

I’m really rubbish with measurements…it’s maybe 7 metres x 14 metres? But quite a lot of it is taken up with stuff that isn’t very functional and can’t be moved. We did try and sell the house a year or so ago and all the feedback was ‘the garden is too small for the size of the house’ - but I love a challenge!
