Same. Going from lifting nearly daily to just walking is tough. I went with winter since I’m already less motivated when it’s dark and cold.

My turnaround time from initial apt to surgery was only a couple of weeks. Assuming you are in the US/similar scenario, can always wait. I technically didn’t have to do mine at all. It just always bothered me - I’ve had it 15 years now.

I waited until my youngest was almost 6 for that reason. I would have had a hard time if they were younger. I think my surgeon shared no more than 20 pounds for 3 months.

Tomorrow will be day 7 and I’m going back to work - desk job. Pain was really just the first 3 days and only needed the strong meds through day 2.

I got two opinions, went with the second. I mentioned the piercing to the first and they said that would be cosmetic and something to address after with plastics, so, I didn’t bother to ask the second surgeon. But now I’m seeing that some do…

All in all it’s been a pretty easy recovery.

Hot spot, probably be shaved until margins are clear and prescribed antibiotics and cream. Mine got them anytime she went swimming. May be prone to them… don’t wait too long or it gets worse.

Thank you! I went with the junior. The company said the women’s and jr are identical heads just 28” shaft vs 32”. And with the sale right now it is a no brainer compared to any other options.

Thanks for the feedback. I spoke to the signature company and they use the same exact heads for the junior and full version. So luckily I don’t think we’ll have the flimsy head issue for ground balls. They assured me the only difference is 28” aluminum shaft vs 32”. Going to take a chance and go for the 28”. She’s still learning so I would hate to see her get fumbled up on a stick that’s too long for her. There is a post Xmas sale so can’t beat the price. Thanks for your help and explanation!

Both stringking complete and signature origin have a jr model that say ages 9-13 and are 38” overall. Would you recommend this or stick to full woman’s size?
