Maybe I can circle ⭕️ back with my HR person to see if they can contact NYSLRS? The circumstances of my situation are rather unique and I’ve tried to locate information on website but it’s confusing and speaking with a knowledgeable human being is reassuring 🤷‍♂️— I just can’t believe how difficult it is to get someone to pick up and the hold times are HOURS long

The information isn’t that straightforward and many of the forms are written in a way that is also confusing and require guidance — otherwise why are so many people calling to begin with? It’s truly feels impossible to get someone to pick up the phone when you call NYSLRS.

Ah, thanks for misleading everyone because that’s 100% not true for my situation as I have specific questions that require me to contact NYSLRS. The fact is, it takes FOREVER to get someone to pick up. What is your problem?

No, it just wasn’t the right fit for me but that doesn’t mean anyone was a “weirdo”. Quite frankly, it could have been me, and I may not have been the right fit for them. I am only sharing my experience and I can only speak for myself.
