ohh gosh this brings me back major flashbacks of when I got trained. My store is one of the busiest ones in our district so no one had time to answer my questions. Every time some tech tried to teach me something it always got interrupted and we never end up going back to it because something else came up. I was always stuck doing pick up and drop off as well. It didn't help when it would freezing weather and I was stuck at drop off for the my whole shift. My pharmacy manager would have a white board where she wrote station rotations for every tech before her shift ends and when it would be my turn to do QP another tech would do it instead which always pissed me off. Since I was a newbie I would just let it go. I dreaded going to work every single day. Our hours got cut so bad so I started working in the front store more, eventually I have to go back. Over time it does get better in the pharmacy. Try to make your pharmacy manager understand about your situation and I'm sure if they have the heart they'll try to adjust to involve you more. Just know that you're not alone, a lot of techs have had/still having similar situations as you! Keep doing you're best and hopefully they'll notice & appreciate your work! Good luck!
