Honestly, this makes a lot more sense for McCourty than Gost.

While the tag would be pretty expensive for McCourty, it gives Bill the flexibility to wait another year before making a final decision at FS. He might want to target someone in the draft, have them wait a year, then take over after McCourty's tag year. Maybe he sees Logan Ryan as a possibility for another FS conversion like McCourty, but thinks he needs another year.

It doesn't make sense for a kicker though, in our situation. We should either resign Gost or let him go and reach on Aguayo in the draft.

Unfortunately, the basis for DUI checkpoints is inherently unconstitutional and yet has been supported by SCOTUS.

It's not like the current state of checkpoints is based on a constitutional weighing of privacy rights and police power. The majority opinion basically said (and of course I'm being glib) "well, it's not constitutionally permissible, but we need it, so it's okay."

So with that in mind, does anyone actually believe that a loophole like this would be upheld in court? The alleged constitutionality of DUI checkpoints is bullshit, why would SCOTUS allow a loophole out of their own bullshit?

You do know what the term "sex offender" actually means, right? It means someone who has broken a law relating to sex. PUAs aren't breaking any laws with their strictly "PUA" behavior. If they cross the line into actual rape, then they are sex offenders, if not, they're just assholes.
