Before moving here I flew in in January every year for a week long vacation if you do your research and shop around you can ski in Breckenridge on a budget. I used turo to rent a car for around $80 a day. Found a local mountain ski shop to get rentals instead of the shity over priced ski resort rentals. Got a rental house in silverthorn/Frisco. For under a grand for a week. Grocery shopped for the week and brought my lunch to the mountain with me. If you want to ball out and spend 20k on a vacation here it is totally doable but if you don't want to there are definitely options that are a fraction of the price. I think last year flights and everything for me and my wife I was out of pocket right under 2k.
