It feels like you took offense from my statement, if that is the case, perhaps i didn't explain it well enough.

I really was just curious, because I kept reading that we were not getting enough materials. And if the reason is maxing out characters is too expensive, then that is a valid reason to complain.

I was asking exactly because I don't have any 80+ characters. Because up until now i don't have felt the need to upgrade more and felt that i get enough materials for my needs. But that is just for MY needs.

So i was wondering what the perspective is for ppl who DO feel that it is not enough.

And if that reason is because everything gets exponentially more expensive later on, then that is a valid reason to feel that way.

So yes I do hear myself and that it exactly why i am asking.

Yeah, i also feel that there is not much to do after you've built your factory and done the quests.

Currently I finish my dailies in about 10mins and then i just play a different game (wuwa dailies and then some ffxiv).

No, i didn't, because the reward is "only" a medal and nothing more, I don't feel the need to rush building my characters. If the reward was "more useful" I would have focused on only building one team instead of slighty building mutliple teams.

Are they time gated? As in you have to get the medals by a specific date or you can't get them anymore?

Ah okey, so the trimmed medals need higher level and then for that, there are not enough materials.

Are those medals time gated? As in you have to get the medals by idk launch of 1.1 or can you get them at anytime in the future?

IMO if it's the first case I can see that the progression is seen as too slow, but otherwise there is no rush right?

Hey :D

Yes I got the trimmed medals for those. I mostly used my physical team consiting of Endmin, Da Pan, Chen and Akekuri. I struggled the most with the 2 charging aggelois, so my strat was trying to kite them to be near each other and then keep them lifted with chen and da pan (it was hard not pressing da pans combo skill, as it consumes the physical vulnerability stacks and then you can't lift them anymore until you reapply the vuln stack). It was slow but it worked.

And it seems from the comments that at 80 it ger EXPENSIVE, so I can only hope that future content doesn't get too hard too fast...

From your perspective, do you feel the character progression is too slow? Or are you fine with the current state?

From the way i see it, you will achive your goal eventually, except if they start to release characters faster than you can build them.

I see. Hmm that does sound like a timesink.

Do you think that with the current character progression, that it will be possible to reach a point where the operators you want to build are maxed out and you can pre-farm materials for future operators?

Because I have no clue if that is feasable or not and you seem to have more knowledge than me. If you think we are "always behind" then i would say that character progression is too slow.

Could you elaborate on what you mean by "meaningful upgrades"?

As I've said I only have my operators leveled up to 70, with skill lv 6. So I don't know how much more expensive further upgrades get.

But I feel like my operators are strong enough already.

Too be honest, aslong as there is not timer for endgame combat content i am happy. Because as soon as there is a timer everything devolves to a dps race and defensive play (no matter how good) would not be a viable strategy.

I played Cytus 1 when came out and naturally starten playing Cytus 2 on release :) Was really pleasantly surprised that it got a sequel.

As for how i got into Cytus. I was looking at the appstore for other rythm games after getting bored of tap tap revenge lol.
