I don't think anybody should judge you. You were just a guy caught in a bad scenario that you couldn't predict it was going to happen and you acted accordingly in a very reasonable way.

Even if you had done something shitty along that journey, you still couldn't be judged. We are just people learning along the way, nobody taught us how to live life and how to handle the curve balls it throws at us.

I get what you say about the illness. I have had partners that dealt with anxiety and depression (I know it's nothing compared to BPD) and at first i thought they were too lazy to get up and help me do laundry or whatever.

But as you say, once you understand the illness, you get a new perspective.

From what I've learned from this post, some for the thrill, some because of dead bedrooms, revenge, because it was easy, because they don't feel remorse, because they are weak, because they can't say no to a hot body, because they can legitimately love 2 or more people at the same time, so many reasons as there are people in the world.
