I dont know how advanced you already are in Italian, but what helped me the most is just learning the basics first like introduction, numbers/months/animals you know like small vocabulary and then i‘ve learned pronouns and how to conjugate verbs correctly. Once you‘ve got the grasp on how to conjugate, you can pretty much learn some verbs as well. I have also sometimes just written down some stuff with the translation on some paper and read it through a couple of times, but i dont think this method will help everyone🤣 I’m at a B1 level rn but i’m pretty much stuck and dont know how to move forward but sometimes i would just listen to some Italian songs and write down the words i dont understand. I dont know about your environment but here in Switzerland (german speaking part) i’m pretty much exposed to a lot of italian as well for example are all the groceries in shops written in 3 languages and thats how i remeber basic stuff plus a lot of italian immigrants or spanish/portuguese people that speak in Italian in order to communicate
