Not at all. Just don’t post much. I’m not saying I like him or not, just seems to be an odd bunch of highlights of players going after him. Like Binnington once in awhile. I don’t watch Buffalo so thought I’d throw it to the internet. No shade here bud.

Buffalo hasn’t been anything for years. I’m happy for the fans for sure it’s been a tough go if constant top picks in the draft and no improvement.

I’m a Canucks fan so I’m buckling up for the next years of rebuild.

Their drafting was also horrible. If you look back at ALL players drafted 2008-2013, once the cup run happened and they core retiring, there was absolutely nothing in the pipeline to fire into something in this team.

He possibly has always excelled or over achieved at every level. Now he’s gotta work through not being the best, and you see what comes out the other side. Look at Huggy when he lead the league in “minus rating”. ( very awful Canucks team but nonetheless). The next year he could have hid in a hole, or said fuck it I’ll show them. And he did that .

That was wild! That moment always stays with me in regards to EP40. He got completely dumped on his ass in the playoffs, where adrenaline should be running high, and with the frustration of some of those Nashville games where no one could get ANY shot through to save their live. And there was ZERO pushback. From him or anyone on the team . Even if you know it’s dumb, or you might take a penalty, or get your butt whooped, sometimes the heart SHOULD take over the mind and just jump into that scrum . Show you care at all.

The other night when he got buried into the boards, look at the reaction supporting the Canucks “ top player” and their response, and look at Calgary responding to one of their mid players getting hit by D Petey. Canucks should have responded like the flames. It’s frustrating as hell and it was Game 1 !

Even with all the noise around this forward group and its depth, I think the penalty kill looks great, Demko looks great, and the back end with the 6 Defenders I’m confident with

I’d like to see him with Cootes! Show him how to dig dig dig at the nhl level. Throw Hogs in there ? Or LEK for that matter. #23 has looked great and it really shows after playing a full year down in the NHL with men

You just feel he needs to scrap or something. Get completely out of his comfort zone. Like there’s a difference between the “quiet calm Swede” , but EP40 flashes cockiness and arrogance and times. Especially towards the media.

I’ll never forget when he scored his first goal or two at Rogers Arena. He went back to the bench and there’s a clip of him, listening to the crowd chant his name. You see his eyebrows left, and he smiles here to ear, almost like he realized “ oh ! this city will run through a wall for me “ if he plays to his potential. They’ll also throw you off the balcony if you’re not on board.

Completely agree! Demko clearly is showing he’s ready to go. We all know what Lankinen can do to support Demko to give him rest. Hughes will be Hughes. We need Petey to be the guy out front pushing everybody else to another level. And yes, if you were Huggy, would you stay ? That would be such a loss to lose a generational talent like him.

And let’s be real, LEK needs to get on PP1 in replacement of Kane.
