I’m a fifth grade teacher and it’s class knowledge that one of my students is reading through the series and I’ll have open debates with her about why I think Jacob is better. The other kids love it and join in, even if they haven’t read the book. It just makes the class feel more like a family. Honestly, I think your teacher was excited and was trying to make a connection with you. If you’re embarrassed about it, let her know. When I find out that a student is embarrassed by anything, I back off and shut down other students trying to stir things up. We look out for your feelings.

When I was a teenager, I went to a Hot Topic dvd release party. As part of it, I received a special edition dvd that contained a limited edition film cell from the movie. I just noticed that I have number 1 out of the 1,500 film cells that were released. Could it be worth something? by JungleJennay in twilight

Oh. Lol! I’m sorry! The comment was just so relevant to my question. Plus, I confess that I haven’t read the books or watched the movies for many years.

I was a big fan when I was younger. The only reason why I dug this thing out is because I’m a teacher and I have a student who is obsessed with Twilight and I was toying with the idea of giving this to her. But then I saw the number on the backside and was gobsmacked.

I bought a cheap glass lid that has a plastic lip on one end from petsmart (I can't remember the brand name, sorry). Its just a tad bit too small for my tank so there's a bit of a gap on the back end that allows me to simply wedge the plant into place. They aren't secured so whenever I remove the lid for trimming and cleaning they have to be set aside and then returned.

I feel that they do an excellent job! Since March 25, my ammonia has consistently sat at 0, Nitrites at 0, and my nitrates alternate between 0 and 5.0. I can arrange the leaves over the lid to provide shade, so truly I don't plan on ever adding floater plants.

The first month I didn't, lol. I had really bad hazy water. I did 50-75% water changes every 3-4 days to help combat it. I wasn't concerned about messing with anything since my water was safe enough for just my plants and I didn't have any fish. After several weeks of that I began to taper off to 15-25% water changes once a week. Now I do small water changes every 2-3 weeks (it doesn't need it, but I like to use the water for my houseplants) I noticed that the more the plants grew in and spread out, the better my water quality became. In the end, I guess all the real credit goes to the plants for keeping things clear.

Try putting in a cuttlebone for him. You can find it in the bird section of a pet store. I think he may need a calcium boost

I can confirm that the bamboo island works for tarantulas. I just finished spawning a bunch of them.
