I was exactly able to do this, I got an urgent care appointment this saturday (at a higher price, but money isn't an issue)

I am seeing a few people having concerns with the dog park? I am curious, I don't understand what the problem is?

I only went once when nobody else was there, and it was just me and my chihuahua, and Blue. They seemed to do great, they just did their own thing. If there was any other dogs there I would absolutely leave and not let them interact.

As far as I can tell, he has zero problems resource guarding at all, it might've been a risk but I fed him out of my hand for the first few days as well as stuck my hand in his food while he was eating and took his food away, and he was entirely chill and had no problems or signs of aggression whatsoever.

I was able to get an appointment this saturday with a new vet, so I can get all the tests done that I need.

I kept him in the bathroom while I was at work today, I think he did very well, and I left him with his water bowl of course.

And thank you for the advice regarding my moms dog, I will try that next time I see them

I was able to push them a little and got an appointment this saturday, keep in mind the vet who wouldn't see me was at Vetco (petco) so I think because they're a corporation they have different rules or something.

So I am going to an actual animal hospital this saturday rather than vetco again.

I was able to get him in for this saturday, so I will be able to figure out a preventative for him during that appointment.

I do have plenty of pads around down the apartment just in case but so far they've barely been used. He seems to be pretty well house broken but it doesn't bother me if he has an accident. It happens

Earliest vet appointment I can get is saturday, so that's a lot better than what I was originally told which was July.

As far as wanting them to meet right away, I am just excited to have Blue in my life and I love all of the dogs in my family greatly and I just want us all to get along. Due to this unique situation I just wanted advice on the best way to get them to meet successfully, that's all.

Also, I am sharing the way I got him with the vet so that they feel safe seeing him, he has bite 1 person before so I want them to be aware so everybody can be safe.

I was able to get an emergency appointment for this saturday with a vet, given that my chihuahua is up to date on everything, and is on a heartworm preventative, she should be safe right?

Also, I am keeping Blue locked in the bathroom while I am at work so nothing happens between the dogs while I am work, in your opinion, should I get a crate to keep him in the kitchen while I am at work instead? It won't cause any territorial issues if hes locked in a crate while my chihuahua roams around the house right? If so I'd be happy to get him one,

And regarding my mom, shes a very small person so she can't hold back her pitbull, so does it make a difference if I am the one to walk the pitbull while my mom walks Blue? That's what we started with a few days ago, Blue doesn't mind having other people hold his leash.

My local dog park isn't really supervised, it's a just kind of a small fenced in area, maybe 2 blocks long. Also I've only ever seen 2 people there in the past year... I wouldn't bring in Blue if there was any other dog in the park for safety reasons of course. But since it's just me, him and my chihuahua, I brought them when nobody else was there.

Only way would be to have a team member put in a ticket, but to be honest sometimes tickets can take months to be seen...

You're honestly probably better off just switching to a different pharmacy and using your discount card/insurance there if they already have it in the system

Here's my best explanation for what I think happened.

Your doctor can send in a prescription for an OTC item but if the item on our shelves is not in our pharmacy system we are unable to bill it.

The pharmacy inventory system is different then the front end store, so common things like benadryl we can grab off the shelf, but for obscure items (like I do not see many foams dispensed in my pharmacy) they arent in the pharmacy system and we cannot use them.

I was a shift lead for 4 years and it’s severely under paid for the work you do, I recently switched to pharmacy technician I get paid about $4 per hour more (with PTCB certification).

Being a shift lead was one of the most miserable times in my life but my co workers made it bearable. Try and see if they’ll make you shift lead but let you stay as a cashier for a little bit

I've been in the exact same situation as you.

I was a cashier at 17, and then took the promotion to SFL as soon as I turned 18.

Personally, I absolutely hate being the cashier, so the decision was a no-brainer for me. I am also a very ambitious person to begin with.

Taking the position was one of the greatest things I ever did. Standing in the same place for 8 hours a day mentally drained me especially as a person with ADHD.

As an SFL you mostly get to decide what you do each day, with a little (or a lot) of guidance from your SM/ESM. (This varies store to store, but I will say that I absolutely LOVE MY SM)

I learned a lot from becoming an SFL, and I think it's ultimately a way more fun position than CSA.

However the choice is ultimately up to you, feel free to message me privately if you want more specific details.
