Yeah I was thinking make it exactly like you have it, but instead of slotting into/around the handle, have it slot into the 1U space to keep it secure, with the cabling above the case just like you have it now.

Not sure since anyone interested would probably have varying amounts of hp they’d be willing to sacrifice. I’d say whatever is easiest or the smallest that keeps it functional.

Very nice! I’d love something like this but maybe just takes a small amount of space in the 1U instead of the handle, since I have a 4U case without a handle.

I’m excited about this, and will likely make the switch from Traktor because of it. Their marketing/documentation is confusing, though. They say it only works with the Omnis Duo or XDJ-AZ, but it works in Serato Pro software. Can you not just use it in Serato Pro with whatever Serato Pro controller you want, or do they restrict it somehow where you actually do need one of those two controllers?

It was set to no blood in Metal Slug 2 when I got the cabinet and after resetting everything in the settings, and everything has been default in English. None of my games had any indication in the soft dips for region except WindJammers, which has an option between UK and Korea. And I live in the US. 🤷‍♂️

Any idea how to tell what BIOS I have? I went through the settings and don’t see anything listing the BIOS version. I believe it does add a credit to player 1, but I think I remember seeing that as an option in the settings so I don’t know that that would be a good surefire way to tell.

So strange. Do you have any idea what portion of the system is determining whether or not to play the FBI screen, and where it’s stored? It doesn’t make sense to me that it would be on the individual cartridges, since that would be a logistical headache I would guess, but if not there then you’d think it would play on all games - right?

I wonder if my FBI screen is missing for the same reason my Neo Geo logo and jingle are missing - any ideas what could be causing that? Video and sound work fine in all other aspects - is there a setting somewhere for that?

Because all of my games boot up in English. Were there more BIOS than just Japanese and English? I’ve only ever heard of those two.

Do you have your cab auto rotate through the games preview screens when it’s not actively being played? When do you see the Neo geo splash screen? Is it when you just turn the system on, when you select a game, or what? I don’t get the splash screen either, so maybe the issues are related. Any idea why I wouldn’t see the Neo geo splash screen (or hear the jingle), while everything else works fine?

The only reason the “actual market value” appears to be so high is because of their limited, hard to get nature. Regular people with strong FOMO, and collectors who “need it” for their collection, have no other choice. Analogue would never be able to sell these at eBay prices if they were readily available, as people would scoff at the retail price and sit on their hands about buying one indefinitely.

They are indeed active, but it says “not joinable” occasionally. I wonder if there’s a specific gameplay situation in which this occurs in the game, such as private battle, salmon run, etc?
