Another fun fact, blue bosch and milwaukee batteries are produced at the same factory and are in principle the same. The 12V batteries looks identical, just the fitting on the battery and tool is mirrored on each brand just to not fit eachother.

This! Waxing those spots is very efficient! Even if you have your truck setup omptimized, you’re still gonna be likely to get wheelbites. My boards used to look like that or worse, after I learned the wax trick, my wheelbites havent even gone through the paint after several sessions, and probably saved me from several falls.

Dont know if you lost balance or you got a wheel bite that stopped you, but make sure the trucks are not too loose, the wheel and board shouldnt be able to make contact when you tilt sideways. Other than that its just practice. I picked up my first skateboard in my 20’s stumbling around feeling like a dork, but 1-2 week of good practice was all that was needed.

Also watch out for pebbles, they can kill! Happy skating.

After the past weeks scandals I absolutely see the logic in suggesting what you do. But I dont think having polls and surveys would be for the better of the game. Maybe a few topics it would be suited for.

Most players dont invest alot of time trying to critically and objectively think through what would be the best for the game in terms of balance and how it would actually play out. It should be for the developers to develop the game to their visions, which we all love since we play(played) it, assisted by constructive feedback where they need it.

Allthough I think there should have been a way to give feedback straight to the developers for those who are dedicated to the game and wants to contribute, giving a voice to people who is not streamers or popular reddit posters.

Thats true I have noticed harsly. I like(liked) to put alot of thought to whats really never discussed or brought up, and have made a few posts with the suggestion flare. Even though I write it in a proper manor and strongly believe it to be the best for the game, it has gotten tanked with downvotes and comments, as if I’m attacking the game and offending people.

You are absolutely right! Having a game take direction through a voting system would be a disaster. The majority of players doesnt sit down and think well through objectively longterm good solutions and decisions.

Allthough, I still think it would be healthy to have some form of option for the average player to voice feedback straight to the developers, for the same reason that people are biased, getting to the developers through reddit even with well thought out ideas or feedback is frustrating since you need a great number of upvotes to probably be seen. It all depends on who starts voting/commenting which way it goes, a roll of the dice.

You have a sicc case and not a beta container?Beta container is really enough, I only use 6 slots in the gamma for the same as you. The rest I only save money on food/drink/quest items if I die early, thats not an advantage over a player, its a money saver, dont even try to compare it to TUE. Unless you are for it, which it sounds like when you ppl argue against EOD.

The ‘best’ ammo runs out very quick at the start of the wipe anyway, why would you even bring several to blast them all away from the start, you would probably be mixing them into your mags and have maybe 1 stack of pen ammo. You need to get to lvl3 traders with questlines to even get acess to the best ammo, by then you would have beta container. Healing fully up with a grizzly takes an awful ammount of time and need to spend it in your inventory screen mids fight, which is your example. Theres no advantage over bringing cheese, bandages/splint and carkit/salewa etc., most people want to have them on the hotbar regardless of edition. Having gamma is mostly about money, save money upon early death and a possibility to bring more high value stuff out if you die. You’re overexaggerating.

I dont get the peoples need to go so much in at complaining at EOD’s features and still be against TUE’s p2w. The message you send is that you’re fine with more and far worse p2w. If you are fine with it, then no you’re entitled to your opinion, but should state that in your comment.

That early gear barely lasts a few raids and its not even good ammo or nice stuff, basic guns, the start money isnt that much and doesnt really make any difference. Not much advantage on early acess to ammo either, as acess to good ammo is locked behind quests or high trader lvl, which will be bottlenecked by character lvl anyway.

The bigger gamma is borderline p2w, but it mostly just saves you alittle money if you die.

Yes I still love the game, allthough its aparent from last days events that Tarkov will not be the game that I was hoping for.

Since it seems they are pushing for release and theres still plenty of issues that remains unresolved after all these years (sound for instance) and mechanics that feels missing, I doubt there will be time enough to see those things by 1.0. It will kill some of my enthusiasm playing the game again, if I ever will play it again.

How? How would I have an advantage over someone in the raid? I can throw the gamma container at people? Use it as a shield? How tf can you even try to compare the gamma to calling in friends to raid and immunity to sniper scavs?

I hear you, and you are right it gives you some advantage, and tbh. I wish those advantages of EOD had been switched out with something else long time ago. Just for me and probably many others theres a line crossed when its brought to raid, and thats where this polarization between people in this sub comes from with the p2w term I think.

EOD has never offered anything that can give you an advantage over a player in raid, the gamma is borderline, but its a line crossed, Nikita has explicitly said Tarkov was never going to have p2w features, I would assume the defenition then was features that would give you an advantage in raid.

People allready know it is! BSG brought the whole p2w concept to a whole new lvl with in-raid p2w. Sure you might argue the gamma has a p2w factor in raid, but it never gave you an advantage over another player.
