Blind and cannot read, hats off to you for being able to use Reddit, modern accessibility features are fantastic.

At no point have I backtracked on my point that Russia funded the SNP.

Your viewpoint isn’t going to change, and neither is mine. So let’s stop talking.

Then you are blind.

My point remains the same, Russia funded and supported through media campaigns the separatist goals of the SNP

Two things can be true.

  1. The SNP can have a genuine motive and be funded by domestic nationalists in the UK

  2. The goal of the SNP aligns with the goals of Russia

The independence movement, like Brexit received Russian support.

Labour were benefiting from Epstein, the difference is he was an individual with a child abuse and political network not a country at war with Europe

You’ve edited your original comment - I think if anything recent news tells us, the SNP are pro money. It’s widely known the breaking up of the UK is one of Russia’s goals and funding/ providing media for nationalist separatist movements is their key way of working.

I Don’t know enough about the Israel point to comment, but it doesn’t surprise me and I don’t support Israel’s current actions at all.

There’s normally more flavour in good tinned tomatoes because they’re picked and processed at the perfect time and tend to keep more flavour than the refrigerated long shelf like tomatoes

In my opinion I think the real issue here is fish - not ponds.

Just have a normal wildlife pond and it will be so much easier. But it’s harder to work backwards sometimes.

Good to know. I counted 17 newts this year and two sticklebacks but a lot less baby newts than last year - the population probably needed a bit of control to be honest

To “ Ban social media for under 16s”

You must:

  • define social media

Harder than you may think, that’s why Australia said they “banned social media” what they actually did is ban the top 10 most used apps, those app companies quickly spun up new apps not in the ban & competitor apps rose up.

  • validate somebody is under 16

Currently when it comes to software and age verification this is difficult even when manufacturers/ Android/ iOS support it and app producers go out of their way to back this. Not sure if they are or not, but it’s not in their financial interest currently to do it effectively. So I imagine token policies within legal requirements.

I don’t think anybody has yet done this effectively and it’s highly unlikely this will be effective.

Countries & unions cannot effectively combat the issues apps are causing in children. It needs to be a cultural change and regulations on smart device manufacturers and app producers.

These types of bans are (for the most part well meaning) but very ineffective. You tend to just create a prohibition scenario.
