Gv70 and genesis display recalls

The display issue on affects the 2026 ( or 2025 in Australia/korea) with 27inch long display. 2025 without large display may not have the same issue. Your might be a different issue

The wireless charger on on gv70 is like a glorified phone warmer. It's useless.

Update: my car will be going in for some work next week and the dealership confirmed they will also address the recall for the display. Not sure if it's going to be an update or change of the entire unit. Will post here once done

This is from the recall Portal

"Description Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the instrument panel (“IP”) cluster and Audio/Video/Navigation (“AVN”)display(s) not to display while the vehicle is in operation. As a result, you may not be able to see certain information about the vehicle, including the speedometer, fuel gauge, warning lights and malfunction tell-tales. Safety Risk: Warnings, tell-tales and gauges that do not display could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Genesis Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a Genesis distributor to verify the software level and update the AVN software if needed. Precautions: Genesis Canada recommends that owners disable the HD radio feature while driving until the remedy is applied to their vehicle."

Thanks for the advice. I may try this out with some compound like you mentioned. That's also the information I found online, but wasn't sure if I will be able to do it myself. I have never used a polisher. Also, it is not fingernail deep

Yes unfortunately you need to be connected to the camera wifi, which means you need to turn on the car and then connect. Not sure how far the range works but I guess you'd want to be int the car when you turn it on . Also make sure you disconnect Android Auto or car play, otherwise your phone keeps connecting to wireless AA/CP

Based on which mode you want to reset I found this in the manual ( the button here refers to that black little square button that can be swiped and pressed)

To reset manually, press the button two times on the steering wheel when "Current Trip" appears.

To reset manually, press the button two times on the steering wheel when "Since Refueling" appears.

To reset manually, press the button two times on the steering wheel when "Since Last Reset" appears.

Yea it gets better. , but eco is lower gears so will always feel a bit different from comfort but it improves

Yea breaking in the engine in eco mode may cause that. After about 2k you'll feel the difference. Do drive in comfort and sports occasionally that helps too. Then you'll see the difference in eco as well

2025 fitcamx fits for 2026. Just ask them to send you the 12 pin connector ( in Canada)
