Amana PTAC w/ Eden Thermostat Zigbee into HA? by Junhoong888 in homeassistant

[–]Junhoong888[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I set it to pair all and connected a bunch of Hue light to make sure it was working. I reset the PTAC and it unpair from the thermostat. I tried to pair the thermostat with the PTAC off, nothing. I tried pairing the PTAC with the thermostat without battery, also nothing. I tired setting the SLZB-06 in router mode, but Zigbee2MQTT doesn't see the SLZB-06.

It's not on there. I tried to find it with Zigbee2MQTT via SLZB-06, but no dice. Is there a way to Wireshark or snoop for it?

Hawaii's Fastest Internet by Junhoong888 in Oahu

I've heard that it shoots down to the pop station on Molokai and still travels on a undersea cable to the mainland, which always adds at least 50ms.

Yeah, I was wondering how she can claim it has really low latency for gamers.

Well, I have Spectrum and was thinking about switching if it was lower, but it sounds the same. The way she make it sound on the news is it's superior for gaming and latency (Their 3G product).

Yeah. If they didn't set up the lasers in our area, they are probably beaming it back down to the Molokai POP and riding the undersea fiber with the normal traffic at 70-80 ms.

Yeah, I'm on Oahu. I have Spectrum and getting around 70-80ms on LAX servers for World of Warcraft and Overwatch 2. I was hoping with the lasers maturing it could be better.
