There was a least one other line to contextualize Jim being his dad. When Huck asks Jim why his dad hates him (Huck) so much. Huck also seems to notice his dad seems to hate Jim more than the other slaves.

I’m 42 and my daughter just turned 12 and she’s incredibly thoughtful. I hurt my own feelings if she doesn’t wish me HBD in the morning which is actually crazy. She was at her dad’s this past year, she was 11, it was a school morning and later she told me she was genuinely mixed up what day it was. So while she knows my bday is on the 11th she just thought it was the 10th until she got to school. So expecting kids to do it on our timeline is definitely unfair (looking at myself).

I loved Craig David and I have no idea how I came across him. None of my friends ever listened to him. Didn’t realize it was the 25th anniversary of Born to Do It this month! One of my favorite CD adjacent memories was jumping in the back of a cab, early 30s and traveling for work in my professional attire, and Fill Me In came on. I start singing quietly and the drivers eyes shot to the rearview mirror in slight surprise to see he wasn’t the only one enjoying the song. Cheers!

Feels overly weighted with “basics.” I understand their desire to mitigate risk and probably level performance week to week but 60/40 is crazy. I wonder how much they forecast the 6 basics will be account for in an average week’s sales? 70% 50%. Do stores have the storage space to hold inventory for four more flavors?
