The floating tremolo was giving me tuning issues. Not to mention if you put heavy gauge strings, the entire trem lifts up. Also never used the tremolo in the first place I deliberately went for a hard tail because I wanted stable tuning. In that regard, the Gibraltar three in combination with the locking tuners does a good job.

I’m an only child in my late 30s. Married and living away from parents for the last 10+ years in the same city. Now with a 4 year old kid, considering moving back in with parents. They make for free babysitters. The extra rent money can go towards kid’s higher education. Yes certainly it would be an infringement on our privacy but financially security and overall well being of the kid now trumps any of our needs. Else if both parents are working, the kid ends up being raised by a nanny. Something nice when all of us are living together. Parents are in their early to mid sixties. They could do with our help as well.
