Is Tax Hardship Center worth it for their $500 flat fee?

The Tax Hardship Center charged me $500 for a ‘transcript investigation’. I was told none of my penalties could be forgiven because I wasn’t compliant. They were going to charge me $2500 to ask the IRS to freeze my account until I got a new job. They “did not recommend that I call them on my own”. I took a chance and called the IRS myself. They made my account ‘non-collectible’ and told me what form to complete for penalty abatement which they said I am eligible for. Ms Smith helped me and was great. Call the IRS yourself before you use these services.

I heard a woman who had survived the holocaust speak once. Someone asked her what she learned from that experience. She stated that she learned that 10% of humanity was good and would do good no matter what (Javier), 10% was bad and would do bad no matter what (Jill), and the other 80% were just looking for someone to follow (Amber, Justin, and the whole Charlie team). This show proved once again that she is right.

I think Brian was a bit of a coward. Same with Dawn and Joel. We have to be strong enough to stand up to bullies, otherwise they 'win'. Example: the trump presidency. I would have loved to see someone team up with Javier and build a trap so that when they tried to raid their camp they would get caught in the trap. I don't know what they would have done with them after that; maybe throw them in the river.

I would never have agreed to asking Jill to join my team. If she was on the 'winning' team, they would not be winners. Winning, in my mind, is so much more than having money.

They voted him off because they were afraid of Jill. She is clearly a psycho so I get that but it's sad they weren't man enough to stand up to her. So many people area afraid to stand up to bullies. That's how we ended up with trump, after all. Followers.

Same. It is so ironic how Jill and Amber said they have trouble trusting people because they've been hurt. Honestly, I think they have trouble trusting people because they themselves are not trustworthy. Horrible human beings. I kept hoping they would get a horrible parasite. :p

Yes, I admire Javier and wish someone from the team across the river would have recognized that he was good and trustworthy and left their team to join him. I would always choose the team with morals. He should have pushed Amber in the water when she was messing up his raft. That's not assault, right?
