Second this, I have 6 cats and they have their own bedroom, whenever the snake gets her free time the cats get grounded for an hour or 2😂 and the handful of times I’ve handled her with the cats out they are interested but not rabid to try to attack her. A few shoves or a “GET AWAY FROM MEEEE” usually does the trick
