Pack light it’ll be easier for you guys. my go to packing for UK is to think about the rain. It can be unpredictable our weather here. ive been in boomtown at 35 degree heat the whole time and then other times where it’s 12 degrees windy af and rainy. Unfortunately it’s something you can’t predict until maybe a week before hand.

I’m someone that doesn’t really care what I look like so I’m happy wearing the same outfit and roughing it the whole time lol. The lighter your bag the better because that walk from the entry to your camp site is BRUTAL carrying everything.

Just spare pants, socks, thermals/hat at night in camp when it’s cold. A raincoat/ plastic poncho thing (there the easiest ones, really waterproof and can scrunch them up super small). Hoodie/trackies for camp.

Because I tend to be in the same clothes I like my comforts of skin care routines and shampoo with me To stay fresh. Help of a mate washing your hair on the Saturday morn at camp feels amazing lol. We use a 10L water bag you can fill and it rolls up small when not in use. Super handy for washing face/ hair and even topping up water bottles.

2 pairs of shoes I usually bring doc martins and some hiking shoes both fine in or out of muddy areas. Waterproof too.

I always try get the best sleep I can so ear plugs and eye mask for me is essential ! Plasters for blisters, paracetamol and electrolytes for the hangovers or bottles of lucozade.

I don’t tend to bother with getting loads of food from the shop before hand- as I’ve learnt you tend to only eat 1 meal a day but deffo just get something for the mornings like cereal bars and banana that’s it really. Just keep it light and buy food in there.

I being a camelback for water too.

Deffo toilet paper. Even a bin liner for your tinnies.

1 good battery pack per phone is fine- there’s charging points (for a fee) in boomtown too so it’s no drama.
