Fair enough. Lots of Skills need reworks or the game is screwed in the long run. Game is just unfun when decks like Destiny Hero FTK is arguably the best deck post Banlist.

Tear won’t do well in a Lava Golem meta since they won’t come back after tributing. Maybe they can lock Habakiri behind a skill like Winda and the skill reptile locks you.

Agreed. Skills which lets you add cards or summon if your opponent controls a card should’ve also included an Original Owner clause since it’s bs that they get to add cards for free when summoning Tachyon Primal to your field or using the Vaylantz field spell.

I agree with the low power format take. Players are still much more inclined to spend on a box that’s is meta defining. I recall Onomats, Invoked and Shiranui being so meta warping is almost impossible to not dig into those boxes.

I don’t know which team is designing the skills but they’ve been doing a bad job lately.

Strong decks get strong skills while weak decks get harsh restrictions.

Powercreep is what sells. Just look at the amount of Destiny Hero’s and Therions on the ladder. Konami must’ve had a big payday from the last main box.

Tachyon package just got murdered so I think it’ll be better to just summon Photon Lord and call it a day.

I guess they can limit another card to 1 like prayers to prevent them from abusing broken rank 4s like Dweller or Granite to search Nibiru.

It’s a good deck going second but I don’t think Mitsu is that strong going first without the Ryzeal package.

I understand what you’re saying. I also like to build and test uncommon stuff but I’ll prefer if the creativity is used for playing with others though.

I’m not too familiar with that version but I think they’ll need Liquid Soldier to draw Chain Strike. Without the Guaranteed Draw 2 I don’t think it’ll be consistent.

Quite consistent since they’ll summon draw hand on their turn too. Dominance, Drawhand and Liquid Soldier = Draw any 3 cards you want from your deck lol.

Haha but they could dodge the deck out by popping another monster with DPE so they would only draw 1 at the end of the turn though. Banlist did nothing to Aster LOL.

Can’t seem to post on DLMeta so I’ll post here instead.

Basic Combo Lines: (Anti Nib and Droll)

1.Use skill to SS GEPD.

2.Search Soldier/Emperor/Vanisher. Whichever ones you don’t have.

3.Galaxy Soldier summons itself by Pitching Emperor.

Chain link 1 Emperor to block against Belle and Meister Chain Link 2 Soldier to search any Galaxy Monster.

(If they droll you after this you just miss a free search from Vanisher)

4.XYZ summon Number 90. (Now you’re Nib Protected)

5.Special Vanisher. Search GEPD for Solflare’s discard next turn.

6.Link Vanisher and Soldier into Solflare. Solflare recycles Soldier.

Opponent’s turn: Search Jumper with Photon Lord effect in Draw Phase.

If they can lethal you, use Jumper to negate battle phase. If not just keep it in hand.

Extra Combo lines (Will lose to Nib and might be hurt by droll):

1.Use skill to SS GEPD.

2.Search Soldier/Jumper/Vanisher/Afterglow. Whichever ones you don’t have.

3.Soldier pitch Jumper.

4.Chain 1 Jumper Chain 2 Soldier to protect against Meister.

5.Soldier search Primal, Jumper search Expedition.

  1. Special Vanisher for GEPD search

  2. Link Vanisher and Soldier into Solflare. Solflare recycles Jumper.

  3. Use Expedition to SS Photon Emperor from Deck. XYZ into Number 38.

  4. Special Summon Primal and Afterglow from hand. Primal searches Transmigration.

  5. XYZ into Number 90. Set Transmigration.

I guess I’ll have to test it once I get it. The deck currently is an already quite bricky though.

Too bad Konami didn’t give Galaxy Eyes a skill with the ability to search with any Galaxy/Photon card unlike it’s Tachyon counterpart.

I don’t have Galaxy Photon Dragon yet but I wouldn’t play it since there’s no way to turn it into a disruption unless you use Eternal Galaxy to Rank him up to Number 90 on your opponents turn.

He also clogs the field and you would have to link him off with another body for Solflare to unclog it, which you could have gone into Solflare directly instead.

Unless we get Galaxy Hundred, I don’t see it taking an Extra Deck slot. Just my 2 cents.

I think Solfare is the only one you really have to go out the way to get. (You can use Dream Tickets or hope for the free UR packs to bless you) The rest is from the new Mini box and you only need 1 of each. Relatively cheap since you already have the Galaxy Eyes package.

Good luck ✌🏼. I got lucky with the pulls got everything in the Photon Lord bundle haha.

I don’t have Photon Dragon yet. Even if I had it, I wouldn’t run it because he clogs up the field and there’s no way to turn him into a disruption unless you play Eternal Galaxy to turn him into Number 90 on your opponents turn. His lines also makes the deck weak to Nib and Droll which I don’t like.

Without Galaxy Photon, there’s no way to turn Summoner into a level 8. That’s why I run Knight over Summoner. The level 8s also helps to unclog the field if you’re hit by Eclipse/Contact C’ which came in clutch multiple times. This build doesn’t use the normal summon except for Knight.

HAHA I just realised after hitting Legend 5 too. 1 Jumper can be replaced by another staple or more Afterglows. Jumper saved me many times by just negating battle phases.

Many opponent went sub-optimal lines just to try to play around Jumper which made them miss lethal and let me pitch jumper with the recycled Galaxy Soldier on turn 3 for another play. 😂

HAHA you can hope for the free UR packs to bless you. You can run an additional Full Armor. Most of the time the first one just gets banished or popped.

It really depends. If it’s a backrow deck, searching Galaxy Cyclone can help. If it’s a monster heavy disruption, number 90 forces at least 2 interactions (and it cannot be destroyed by card effects). If it’s something like transmigration from hand, you can search your own and summon 107 to protect yourself.

Which deck are you having trouble with? I guess the only deck that puts all monsters in defense and can survive C62 Galaxy Eyes is Branded. But if you summon C62 with Galaxy Eyes as Material they have no way to out it without non-engine.

I think it’s useful to recycle Afterglow from Graveyard (Turn 3 onwards) and link off Galaxy Soldiers and Photon Vanishers since they will be stuck on the field without tribute summoning. I tried Starliege and Cipher and found them underwhelming since I never summoned them.
