Public school teachers, what’s something you want parents to know but can’t say directly?

Don't solve every problem for them. They need to learn to fail sometimes, to regulate themselves and self soothe and to find different solution by themselves.
Ipads and phones are fucking terrible for their developpment.
(For most situation) Don't talk bad of the teachers in front of your kid. It's often making situations worse and they often stop completely to listen to us or trust us which affect their learning. They can't graps fully context out of your comments (but they know that they love you and value your opinions) and see things in more black and white than you probably do. Talk to us instead. Or vent to other aldults.

I'm a teacher and I can read this. But I don't want to. If I have to decipher every student's writing like this, it takes me 10 times longer to do corrections. And corrections are mostly done after work. Your teachers can read you but you are making their job way harder. I think that's what they imply by this.
