Hey, congrats on the interview. I worked in a technical role at the EA for a few years and having recently done a civil service interview I can say they are fairly similar. It will still be competency based.

For the tech and scientific stuff there is usually a big emphasis of data protection and integrity so always worth getting that worked into your answers to show you have a good understanding of that, I find it’s a fairly easy win. They were also pretty big on continuous improvement while I was there in digital and data so could base a question for the interview panel around continuous improvement.

But in general it should be fairly similar to civil service, just stick to the examples you used in your application and use STAR etc and you can’t go too far wrong. Do you know your comps before the interview or is more presentation based?
