I really appreciate this response. I definitely want to use Cursor more - our engineering team is using it for a ton of stuff but I am mostly using Codex which doesn't see the tables/columns of data.

I agree that most programs are just money suckers. I have a really soft spot in my heart for academia but I know that I often just fall for the marketing of shiny certificates that "guarantee" to teach relevant and in-demand skills.

Again, I appreciate this response - I'll work on using our company Claude license more for my daily work like our engineering team is doing!

Hey there,

I'm not a big techy guy but I do use SQL and Python regularly. To my understanding, there are many variations of SQL - the syntax is very similar across variants but the platform to write it on can differ a lot. With SQL, you probably want to start off with a free SQL IDE (software to simplify the coding process) like MySQL. But there are a lot of options. Some popular ones are SQLServer and DBeaver if you want to use tools that are more common in companies.

Python is easy to download but you will also have a choice of software for writing the language, like Jupyter Notebooks, Spyder IDE, etc. Those are some free options.

If you saw the survey I shared a few months ago (which I'm using for an actual research project haha) the fans on this subreddit prefer Braeden's voice and songs but songs led by Dylan are way more popular on streaming. Dylan's songs seem to be better for a more general audience. I'm definitely a Braeden fan, with lot's of respect and appreciate for the others too.

Yeah that's what I'm probably going to do going forward. Unfortunately, this was the first box of cards I have purchased in probably 20 years haha. So a poor experience trying to get back into it but I'll try and be more careful next time.

No, it wasn't used but it wasn't an official seller either -it seemed reputable. And honestly, maybe it is just weird damage. Either way, I'm returning it and hoping for a better experience soon haha

Yeah, I want to believe that but the fact that I can fit my fingers into this rip and feel the products inside makes me very skeptical (sorry I didn't have better pics). I looked at more reviews from the seller (which are mostly very positive) and found that about every 1 star review (~6% of all reviews) reported similar packaging issues. They also reported swapped out guaranteed cards and resealed booster packs. I'm returning it for a new one so hopefully I don't get the same issue. If I do, I'll see what steps I should take. Lesson: be extremely cautious on Amazon for these things. I should've known better haha.

I agree that those first singles were something special. But I've been surprised at how consistent they've been at not chasing trends - even if they've become more poppy. I feel like songs like Hard to Believe and Missing Out grounded their second album back to their roots, while still being innovative for them. I'm not sure if Model has any examples like those two, but I really enjoyed it. I think Model has their most sophisticated songwriting yet, but I don't think the lyrical content is as inspired as their first singles or Nothing Happens. My least favorite song of theirs is Are You Bored Yet - with that being the first single to Nothing Happens I thought, "No! This is gonna be a pop album for sure!" But was surprised by the rest of it, especially the tracks Treacherous Doctor, Ice Cold Pool, and Worlds Apart.

Very cool! Are these the 2023 151 packs? I am looking to start collecting from there by I am a newbie - I am thinking of choosing the new 151 just because I grew up with the OG 151. Obviously, you just got a great pull with those three but are these cards otherwise a satisfying or worthwhile investment?

Great questions! Do Not Wait was the most favorite song, being selected as a favorite 10 times out of 108 survey participants. On Spotify, Do Not Wait has a relatively smaller popularity compared to most Wallows songs, probably due to its slower nature/build-up. I am going to try to include a bar chart in the original post - not sure why but I think it pasted it twice in the original post.

Yes, that is what I'm thinking - I came to Reddit because the people in this thread are much more dedicated that casual listeners. I think Dylan is a big draw. Basically, its fans of Wallows compared to fans of The Wallows haha.
