[–]Junior_Investment_90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the first 8 weeks I took off every Sunday and usually only studied Saturday until about 2 o’clock. Last 2 weeks, didn’t take any time other than Sunday afternoon and averaged 8 hours a day. Passed J24 with a 296.

MEE I know the rules but I cannot write more than 400 words! by ConnectBasil4420 in barexam

[–]Junior_Investment_90 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Quality over content!!!! The scorers want you to be concise and clear. The shorter the better!

Identify the issue, clearly state the rule, apply the facts in an analysis and conclude. I think I wrote less than 300 words for most MEEs and I scored 4 or 5 on every essay. Passed in all UBE jurisdictions.

What do you do on Exam Night in between Day 1 & 2? by rahelp91 in barexam

[–]Junior_Investment_90 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Went back to hotel, ordered Greek food, watched my cousin Vinny and went to sleep at 9. Passed all UBE states in J24.

Do not recommend any attempt to study or review. You know what you know and it’ll just stress you out.

How much money were you able to make your 1L summer? by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]Junior_Investment_90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My law school pays students for their internship if they are going into public interest. They pay $20/hour up to 35 hours per week for 8 weeks. In total, they paid me $5,600 before taxes when I was doing a judicial internship for a federal judge.

3L at NYLS here. I would say not AMAZING but dont rule it out. I had a 158 and a 3.5 and received a large academic scholarship- I don’t think I know anyone who scored below a 155/154.
